    Amen on the DL comment. Why do so many bow manufacturers forget about those who need a long draw bow? Especially on the 5. With that long of an ATA, the DL should match it added an inch or two making the dl about 32. (The 5 says it has the exact same draw length measurements as the 1 and 3 fyi on website)

    You should do a video about setting up a bow to do both hunting and target stuff. I would be curious what your ideal set up would be for doing a little bit of everything

    You should throw a 600gn arrow in the test batch. I’m only shooting like 515gn but considering how many guys are running super heavy setups it could be interesting

    I'm a HOYT Invicta shooter, but this cam system seems like a huge upgrade for Prime. I never liked the double cams, they felt sluggish and clumsy if that makes any sense. I have my doubts with the wear on the cables with this system, but only time will tell.

    Dang! I just bought a Nexus earlier this year, but I think I need another new bow. Since I switched to Prime bows I don’t think I’d use any other bow.

    I shot this bow 1 day ago. Loved the feel overall. Draw cycle was the deal breaker for me. Huge hump on the last few inches of the draw. "Little hump". Compared to Mathews Hoyt bowtech it's huge hump.

      I agree with this comment. I shot it today alongside the V3X, SR350, and EVL. The release and balance was great. Huge difference in the cycle. The breakover is very noticeable, compared to the other three. I won't say I didn't like it, but I do agree that there is a stark contrast.

    Do you think it will wind up having serving separation issues around the tight bends on the cable track?

    Hey Inside Out! @ ~8:30; yes, you can set the mod up to one position longer than the stop peg and the bow is still comfortable to shoot (at least IMO). I tested this out and got anywhere between 70 and 75% let off through all the mod positions (minus the #10; you can't set the peg any shorter because there isn't a #11 hole to put it in). I would NOT recommend setting the mod shorter than the stop position (it definitely gets pretty close to a lock up condition).

    It only has the one draw stop and it comes loose after two shots on the one I tried it was the 35” model

    The cable is in line at the top of the draw, but at the shot it goes back to where it was. That movement back to where it was will have a consequence, but to what extent?

    • @benjamincooper8531
      @benjamincooper8531 2 года назад +1

      I'd think it would be have minor consequence seeing as the majority of the load on the cables is being transferred to the string as the bow is fired.

    It would be nice to see a 350 grain arrow for comparison with the IBO rating of bows.

    • @InsideOutPrecision
      @InsideOutPrecision  2 года назад

      Hard to build a 350 grain arrow that i can safely shoot at 30"dl. But the 362 is going to be within a few fps of a 350

    Is this similar to the Bear EKO Cam?

    • @YoureSoVane
      @YoureSoVane 2 года назад +3

      No. Bear EKO cams have both cables on the riser side of the string, and they don't move under the string like the Inline. Also my EKO cams chew through serving for breakfast.
      EKO cams are like other company's first generation of binary cams. Bowtech is several generations in, and Bear is behind the curve on quality and performance.

    324 fps is fast.

    • @YoureSoVane
      @YoureSoVane 2 года назад

      Did the math. At 30", it's about 328 measured IBO. At 28", it's about 318. Seems much more efficient at longer draw lengths than the Nexus.
