KSU Food Forest

KSU Field Station Operation manager Michael Blackwell and KSU professor and Dr. Vanessa Slinger-Friedman will present how a nutritionally balanced Food Forest can help solve the problem of food insecurity through sustainable agriculture. They will also report on current research that is being done to adjust to the changing climate in our area. Some of the innovative approaches our local university is taking can certainly be applied to enhance our own MG projects and gardens.
