I thought I saw every episode of my life as a teenage robot when I was a kid but I don't remember this episode at all,maybe it's been alittle too long for me since I've gotten to watch the show last,but I thought I had more memories of it for sure since it was my favorite show
I just wrote a script for the Teenage Robot movie. It's called "The Teenage Robot Movie: Meet The Chromosome Cousins". This movie is about Brit and Tiff the Crust Cousins, who got their superpowers back from the Pip Crystal Dresses by turned into mutated supervillains by Dr. Locus' energy siphoning machine.
I know full well I’m gonna get ripped into this…but…I was hyped to see this episode when I was a kid. To be fair…I never expected this to be a Jenny Snuff Film in the latter half. But to be fair…this episode truly has its moments. And yeah…reliving it has its moments. But yeah for me Dressed to Kill is a tale of two episodes in one episodes. No 3: One Great/Creative One Mid One Crap/Eh
Brit and Tiff didn't specifically plot to take over the world, just Tremorton, and they say that if you pay close attention to the dialogue. Like you, I never cared much for this episode. I think because having Jenny defeat Brit and Tiff purely by luck seems like lazy writing to me.
Yeah, but the idea was still solid, just needed a little tweaking and it'd still work, plus it'd be nice to revisit the Pip Crystals and have them be used by someone not as malignant as the Crust Cousins.
Perfect Idea 💡 when brit and tiff nearly get killed they get they're legs crushed and they get holes in their body's and when jenny gets there they die and jenny says man I don't like them at all but they didn't have to go like this.
Well, this episode I didn't know when I was rewatching Season 1. But season 3 had more worse episodes and that includes episode like "no harmony with Melody". Season 1 just had one bad episode and that episode was Dress to kill. But yo my artwork is there. Thanks Jack.
Actually Season 3 having “worse episodes” is more or less an opinion and not a fact. I know you possibly didn’t mean it that way, but calling something such as an opinion on something, a “fact” when it actually isn’t a fact just makes one sound a bit narcissistic.
Weird, I've always enjoyed season 3, I honestly thought it was fine. Though to be honest season 2 has to be my favorite, there's tons of good stuff in that one imo.

As I have mentioned in one of XJ10's videos, what ruined this episode (especially with how much Nickelodeon hyped it) was the ending and how the Crust Cousins defeat was utterly pathetic since this should have been the point where they turn into legit villains.
So, I suppose we can agree that none of us like the Crust Cousins, hm? Well, I’ve got a solution. I mention this a lot, but I’ve been working on a project that involves MLAATR, along with two of Hasbro’s greatest lines, as the Center-point. I knew that the crust cousins would have to show up eventually, so I decided the phase them out the best way possible. For context, who here believes in ghosts? Okay, I’m not *THAT* sadistic when it comes to cartoons. But still, I made the plot line of the cousins becoming ghosts after going face-to-face and with another villain, and they remain ghosts for the rest of the series. Just wanted to say that since this episode of MLAATR gets a lot of hate.
I can see why you yourself didn’t like this , and I totally understand, it was alright for me, but I’m glad this episode actually made The Crust Cousins actual villainous threats rather than just fashionable bullies. The only other time this happened was in Escape from Cluster Prime, where The Crust Cousins decided to join The Cluster. Now like most MLAATR fans, I know you hate The Crust Cousins, and I think that’s kind of the point about them. They were made to be unlikable by the main audience who usually roots for the hero. So I honestly don’t blame you.
I always didn't like this one, cuz it makes our girl Jenny look weak, like having an OP villain is fine and all, but Jenny had zero chance at taking them out with what she had. I feel like if they gave the crystals some kind of Superman-Kyrptonite weakness that Jen could exploit then that'd make for a fine conclusion. So imo, worst episode. Ive been your commenter, Jenny
You know something? I think you just nailed why I don't care much for this episode either. The crystals are so overpowered compared to Jenny, and she beats Brit and Tiff purely by chance when she sees the magazine cover. That's one of the few things that also irritates me about 101 Dalmatians: they make it look as if Cruella is only defeated because Horace and Jasper's truck crashes into her car as she chases the other truck the dogs are in. And while serendipity can and does happen in real life, using it as the explanation for why an antagonist fails feels like lazy writing to me. A better way to show Cruella's defeat, for example, would've been for her to successfully follow the truck with the puppies all the way to London, only for Scotland Yard to show up and arrest her for having them stolen in the first place. There would still be a level of chance in that, but at least it would have been more believable and there would be an element of intentionality in the police searching for her before then.

Yeah, I really can't blame you. It's a very dumb episode. I can't believe Jenny almost got beat out by Rachel Zegler and Gal Gadot... Uh, I mean Britt and Tiff.
It’s one thing for an episode to have a bad premise or central idea, and it’s another thing to have a bad ending- but this one unfortunately has both. Why bother introducing Smytus in this episode if he only shows up for not even a fraction of the screen time, let alone involvement throughout? Even Crackus had a debatably more generous, influential first appearance in his’ introductory episode (which says a lot since he’s… himself). Even through my watch of the entire series, I tried to keep the census opinions and thoughts out of my mind and view the episodes from the way I believe they’re presented, primarily spoiler free… this one just doesn’t strike a chord with me.
