Use black rit dye on the fabric. I used a magic eraser to DAB it on. Works good

Yesterday I tried to install the leather armrest similar to this one in the video. However I noticed that the leather pieces are generally a little bigger than the panel. Do I need to trim it beforehand? I could not believe that I can stuck all the overhang as shown in the video.

why stuck leather in with tool when you can remove the door panel and remove the arm rest? it's just 1 min pop a few tabs and then add the leather to armrest easy?

Why go to the trouble of removing bolts and screws when you don't have to. This is a safer alternative then removing the entire door panel. I wanted to switch up my armrest but certainly didn't want to remove the entire panel to do so.

That's fine but I'l trying to take the panels off so I don't ruin the stock armrests getting glue all over them.
double side tape is not that problem to clean it off, glue is an issue
@Long Live hahahaha love this 😂😂 It really does suck. I'm constantly cleaning white marks from the fabric. I thought black interior would "look" cleaner but I guess not.
You don't have to take anything off. You just use the double sided tape that they supply you with. No glue. I will post what I've done in my Honda Civic later on.
It doesn't leave any glue or strain. I tried it myself.

I got mine off Ebay and they're trying to tell me this method doesnt hold and that I need to take off the panel. I'd prefer to do it this way than rip up my car.

I purchased this item from Aliexpress after watchimg this video shows its too easy to install but while installation i wasted my 2 hours. I couldn't get installed....I wasted my money and time.

This video looks like the person installing has done this before. I don't think most ppl who don't have his experience would be able to get the hang of it on the first try. Plus, this video looks like it was edited so we don't know how long this actually took him.
