- Riverwalks draw locals and tourists with everything from picnicking and people-watching to bike-riding. They’re so popular that many cities are building multi-mile extensions. Today my friends, we're going to shine some light on the Tampa Riverwalk! The Hillsborough River wasn't used very much before but after the City poured in millions of dollars into this project, tons of people are seen flocking to this site.
