I used to live in Singapore when they toured Europe, now I live again in Europe. So I booked my flight to Singapore to see them live - not easy to get a ticket through official channels for concerts that are all entirely sold out. A long trip but I would do it again, no doubt!

Almost 2 years since the show in Singapore, and here I am in the middle of the Covid-19 quarantine, feeling grateful that I am still alive and I was able to see the show just months before the pandemic hit. It was the last concert I attended, and now it seems like a great privilege to be able to sing in a crowd without masks and social distancing.
Same here. Considering all that happened later I only regret that I didn't go to Tokyo or Manila as well.
I finally found U2 in SG last saturday! I stood in the moshpit and it was worth every minute, every hour and every note. Such a fine band.
I love when he snippets stuff in this song. It lends so well to it. This is one of snow patrols best songs too

It's hard to me to go to SG. Because 8 day before show, my lovely mom's has passed away. Almost cancelled. But all my siblings support me to go to SG. And it was Amazing concert in my life. First U2 Concert , and twice i've seen them. 30 nov and desember first..

I was there, music is good, but the sound system is not so good. It was only loud .. can’t hear the details. What do you think ?

Joshua Tree Tour 2019 and Joshua Tree Tour 1987.... 32 years apart but same level of energy! Truly amazing

@@andysmith6218 Well. In 1987 Bono was 27, and almost 60 when this video was recorded. His voice registers are not like before. Nevertheless, at his age he still sound well.

Which Show You have Seen? Mostly no closed up Video, partially they played in total dark. No special effects. Compare to other concerts from them, this was only dreadful.
I like the music, can't tolerate the politics.

Worst concert ever. First half hour they played on the small stage but no Video, nothing. Just darkness. Could See some ants moving, not more. During the Jt Part they showed some nice picture while they played on the Main stage, again no live Video, don't know who played there. Could be everyone. Only at the last half hour they had some live stream on the stage canvas.
Partially the played in total dark, no stage light, no video. Even when Bono had interviewed Adam Clayton about his live as Kid in Singapore, no video of both. So poor Show.
Lightshow? What is this? Some colored lamps. U2 forgot totally to bring a good Show on stage. Compare with other concerts here in YT. U2 was the Best live Band, but now that are old Men already. Go into retirement.
Sound? The high Tones totally overtuned.
Not sure that it comes from the National Stadium akustic or the soundmix and equipment was wrong. Looked for me that there where an loudspeaker equipment for a small Hall. I have been in many concert, Stadium and indoor. Pink Floyd, Peter Gabriel or even Mike Oldfield with a more complex music had always a cristall clear Sound. Even the old tours Zoo TV or Elevation which I saw also live was 100 times better. I paid 300S$ for my Ticket,plus beer and food.
I better had spent my money that night in the Marina Bay Sand for the 'Best Show ever'

@@FranAccetta Have you seen any other concert of U2? For many SG people it was the first time to see a famous band because there don't come much to play here.
My critic is mainly about the poor video show, which was mainly not present. They usually have also other show effects. If you build the gig only on a video show, no strong light show, then this should be good to perfect. I was happy that Bono could hold at least his voice. The rest of the band payed their staff, but the sound was terrible.
I have seen other concerts under similar conditions with a much better and clear sound.
If you want to watch a video throw in a BluRay and stay home. Or buy better seats. I saw the JT tour twice (Berlin and Dublin) and it was awesome. I get annoyed from big video screens just showing the band
@@biker7028 I talked about the concert in Singapore yesterday 30thNov 2019. I had seen also other live concerts from U2. U2 is known as a spectacular Live Band.
Yesterday were just good enough for an unplugged concert.
Was it the same in Berlin and Dublin, that the first half hour had absolutely no video at all? Very dark and only spots on the band?
When Bono ask to light with the mobile, was a few minutes a nice emotional moment, but that become less and less short after.
The screen was absolutely dark in SG during that time, no closed picture during they played on the small stage or any other at all.
Over more or less the full JT set they showed only landscape from somewhere. No side video of live shots from the band. That start only at the last third of the concert.
I sat roughly 80m from the stage, same as most of the audience. Not everybody can get a near place direct at the stage. Even when Bono interviewed Allan about his life in SG as Kid, were no video, nothing. I found videos in RUclips about the former JT tour, what you had seen probably too, and they were good, except the voice of Bono.
So I had an expectation what I can see in SG. This disappointed me finally. I don't talk about the music itself. That was good as expected but had a very bad sound.
I had a short chat after the concert with someone who do also the sound engineer on concerts and he told the acoustic in that SG Stadium is horrible if it has the closed roof, especially on the range. It were only ok on the floor. So about 1/3 had a good sound the rest, who sat around on the chairs even not.
I paid 300S$ at all for my ticket and was very disappointed about that one concert from yesterday. Let see what other people write about the concert from today 1stDec2019 where U2 give a second one.
