Tina O'Neal I love thrifting but want to shop at Jocelyn’s stores! It would be so exciting to get turned loose in a Goodwill with more than one shelf of collectibles, lol!
@@robinw7193 I have to travel 40 minutes to get to a Goodwill. It's pretty junky and doesn't have the best selection. I would love to shop at Jocelyne's thrift stores!
Tina O'Neal Forty minutes!? That just ain’t right! 😂. We have stores much closer but nothing like the great stuff we see in these videos. Thrifting is so fun and Jocelyn’s stores are amazing! Totally unfair, LoL!
LOL at the Hoochie Snake! The little container with the hole in the bottom was actually for condensed milk... the Victorians did not like to see cans, so you put your can in the container and could use your thumb to push it up and out. And the parrot painting was cool! I think it's a Lilac-crowned Amazon, or some type of Amazon. Love this shop, wow! So much awesomeness!
Thank you for explaining that. I didn't see how condensed milk poured into the pitcher would be any less likely to flow out of the hole than any other type of milk.
Desert Dragonworks Thank goodness you could explain how a milk can fits through that little hole in the.bottom of a container, LoL! I learn so much in these videos! 😂
Thank you for the endorsement again to shop local and at your local antique shops! Those of use who have booths appreciate it! 😁 Next time your passing through Ohio swing on by!
I love you two. I had to retire and I been depressed so I am watching all your videos and SueMe and learning a lot got a lot. I have a lot to sell but haven’t started any eBay or Etsy yet but you guys are great you make people laugh you make my day bright god bless
I love watching you and Sue on the hunt. You both make me smile. I love Sues sweater she was wearing. She looked so nice in it and also love your hair the color it is now. Happy hunting you two. Much love.
I just love how Sue pronounces, with such authority and knowledge, that the art piece is a Hoochie Snake! If anyone can turn Hoochie Snakes into a "thing", Sue can!
OMG! The Dansk candles to that candle holder you bought at goodwill the other day are at that goodwill where the strawberry basket candle was! (Sorry that’s the only way I know to describe the store!) Remember? Just saw them on Lavender clothesline video. She didn’t get them. They may still be there!
I'm new here today ! I love your channel because I love looking at stuff...and there's a bonus here because of you three who know what you are talking about. I yelled out a couple of times to "look at this" to no avail. Can't wait to watch more....I have started at the beginning.
Evaporated milk was an expensive luxury here in KY. It was offered only to special guests for their coffee/tea. Ladies in the 1950s hosted morning coffee (gossip ) gatherings in neighborhoods after the kids were off to school. They actually used nice china, percolators, and even silver plate serving pieces. It wasn’t necessarily a wealthy thing, but a social thing. I’ll meet you at Starbucks in 15 minutes.
I don’t want to be one of those people who complain on the channel. You do your channel how you want! But I do want to say I know you are shorting videos in fear of them being to long to keep people watching but I have to say I’m really sad how short these are. I love your 30 min videos I start one while I’m washing dishes or first thing in the morning. If I don’t make it through the first time cause I get busy I always come back to finish! I say don’t worry about breaking them up so much and just enjoy filming! But don’t worry no matter what I’m still watching! 😊
Oh my goodness, first episode and I LOVE you and Sue. Girl I'm from podunk WV so I know exactly where you're coming from as far as the retail markets go. However, I love antiquing, yard sailing ⛵, auctions and thrifting. Keep posting please. Btw, what Antique store are you shopping at? There are a few things I would love to buy for myself lol. The downside of reselling.
at 8:27 there was a pink pottery planter with an attached underplate. I bought a number of these at an estate sale including two different colors of this pattern I think I have only one planter left out of eight. That type of planter is called an African Violet Planter as the planter was made so the water could be put in the saucer and the plant could feed from its roots. They are very popular.
Thank you, thank you, thank you for giving me/us another opportunity to get some uranium glass, and jadeite glass. Please keep it coming. Fingers crossed I'll be highest bidder this time. You guys are the best!
Hi ladies!💕 As always, so fun to watch the two of you having adventures in shopping Vintage! Really a great antique mall, and love watching you both score awesome deals! Thank you for sharing your adventures 🤗
I have many, many nice pieces that I will sell, that sadly NEVER thought I would! I've got to get on the ball and do it! Thank you both for your inspiration and knowledge
I love what looked like a pale yellow, trimmed in gold, miniature open faced China cabinet. (Not sure that's what's called). It's around the 11:40ish time
I notice you always skip over cast iron,I've made some great money on cast iron. Might behoove you to look into it. My best score was a #8 Wapak chicken foot.bought for $15 sold for $175 plus shipping.js
The U-Needa doll looks like the off brand one I have. It came in a plastic bag with a hang header. Don't know why I remember that from when I was 6 or 7! I am a Tammy girl!
I loved that antique mall. My daughter spent 4 years at Dickinson so we stopped there quite often. There was a shop we used to hit I think it was North End? If you go through Connecticut on your next trip to RI you would fill your car here. Aside from Fenton, the market here for glass is very small and Sue could really pick up some lacquer ware to flip
Our local antique store has the clearance shelves in the back. I usually walk straight to the back and start there. Have found some amazing items on those shelves at less than thrift store prices.
Hi, Jocelyn! You, Sue, & Andrew have been playing on my TV for almost a week now! One of your vids popped up randomly from RUclips and I've not watched anything else hardly lol I got nspired and was just ITCHING to go "junking," so I did, hitting 6 thrift shops in south MS&LA in two days. Guess what....I found a piece of William Moorcroft art pottery and some Vignaud Limoges dishes that could potentially pay for my entire $139 haul!
Please research the Hoochie Snake. It was signed. Could be nothing, but you won't know if you don't look. Who would have thought a phone cord purse would bring over $100 ?
I bought a "sugar shaker" two weeks ago and just found out the proper name (muffineer) today. Thx chicks. Learning so much about my own mismatched yard sale treasures through these vids. BTW, if I ever see one of those "hoochie snakes" and have money to burn...I'm having that thing. And thx to Sue, I will know what to call it.
wish we had the sales up here in Canada that you folks run into....the stores, the flea markets etc. none of that up here in northern ontario! great shopping ladies :)
What a neat store. I really enjoyed the video I have to say that, intentional or not the back of your hair looks less messy. 😀 With it being this way it really brings out your facial features, or perhaps your hair just isn’t distracting from them. Anyway it looks much nicer and makes your overall appearance better. I saw some items in the store that I would like but unfortunately now it doesn’t look like I’ll be visiting Pennsylvania any time soon. I hope you have a great day!
Welp I'm addicted to yall and your videos! Im asking for everyone to pray for me, that I get a job ASAP and that I can sell my vintage/antiques profitably. I lost my job a while back and have been unsuccessful in getting a job. Sadly and obviously Jobs are few and far between in northwestern Oklahoma, because before I've never had a hard time getting a job. Anyhoo, I have to have a job ASAP, I've been without propane for over a month and my electricity is going to be shut off next week. I appreciate your prayers, God is forever Great!
Tfs fun treasure hunt ,both of you selected some great items & good prices . Jocelyn your hair color is absolutely perfect in this video . I vote don't change it ever ,so pretty on you . Blessings Kathy in South Tx 😉 Enjoy Sue always !
Sue, I love your LV Vernis Houston. I have the Vernis Reade MM but I like the Houston better I think. I love the color too. Just had to mention that. Luv it.
I've been looking for those tomato S&P with no luck. My mother had them when I was young in the 60s. Unfortunately, they were destroyed in a natural gas explosion. Love all your videos!
While you were looking at the teacup with all the gold in the fancy display, I noticed a metal dog bowl? Over your arm. If you see this and go there again, could you look at them further? I'm very interested in them.
We have antique mall not far as well and omg some shops have just insane prices and stuff is there for years (I been going there for at least 9 years). I don’t get it. Why not lower the prices and sell instead of holding to it. And I am not talking about some amazing truly antique pieces ... but just small things and some furniture and stuff
I just went to Goodwill last night I may go back to see if a couple of things are still there it's their pink tag day it's $1.79 , but most of the items are just expensive. They do check the item's out and price it accordingly and unless you get it at 50 percent off Sundays, or the $1.79 on Monday, I just leave it.
Okay girls, can you please explain what you called the hat pin holder? I am sure I'm showing my ignorance! Thank you so much for sharing such lovely things and giving us knowledge that I would not receive any where else. God bless and happy thrifting. Sherry from Alabama
Muffineer is the name of a shaker for sprinkling sugar, salt or talc and is larger than a salt and pepper shaker. Google it for a better explanation. Good luck.
I really enjoy when you two are together. You compliment each other very well! God bless
Yes smiles I'm here watching older vids just to have them together love them
Hi Jocelyn, you and Sue are such fun to watch and learn from! :) Thanks! Pat
I'm embarrassed by how excited I get when I see you have a new video! Thrifting looks like so much fun!
I do too. LOL
Tina O'Neal I love thrifting but want to shop at Jocelyn’s stores! It would be so exciting to get turned loose in a Goodwill with more than one shelf of collectibles, lol!

Love you and Sue shopping together. 💖👍🏻
Sue’s BIG purse swinging around all that glass makes me nervous!! Lol
I always enjoy Sue's word of the day. I know it wasn't a word of the day but I didn't know " muffineer". Thanks.
LOL at the Hoochie Snake! FlaKNMB Oops, sorry, didn’t see your post first - two minds with the same bewilderment!
And that's why I read the comments!
Desert Dragonworks 😳😳😳😳 push up to take out the can? That’s too much work 😹 but who would know?! I would never guess I swear !!! 🙏
I enjoy your videos - Sue has such a soothing voice. 😀
Thank you for the endorsement again to shop local and at your local antique shops! Those of use who have booths appreciate it! 😁 Next time your passing through Ohio swing on by!
Thank you both!❤️💯❤️💯

Same here. I don’t have anything to sell, though. I find these ladies entertaining. I learn so much. Some things I’ve never seen before. Love this.
Me too Linda, Those two shopping together bring me back home, they are such fun! I watch them for the same reason. Take good care! Pat
I love watching you and Sue on the hunt. You both make me smile. I love Sues sweater she was wearing. She looked so nice in it and also love your hair the color it is now. Happy hunting you two. Much love.

Sue is hilarious... "This is a HOOCHY SNAKE!" She knows it ALL!!!!
😃
Sue does the exact same thing as myself, takes her glasses off to see up close! LOL!! I LOVE watching you guys!! Wish I could hang out with you!!!!
OMG! The Dansk candles to that candle holder you bought at goodwill the other day are at that goodwill where the strawberry basket candle was! (Sorry that’s the only way I know to describe the store!)
Remember? Just saw them on Lavender clothesline video. She didn’t get them. They may still be there!
All day long I will hear Sue saying "Hoochie" in my head. LOL
I need a hoochie snake in every color.
You have the most adorable dimples! I love watching u thrift shop! with your BF or with Sue!
I'm new here today ! I love your channel because I love looking at stuff...and there's a bonus here because of you three who know what you are talking about. I yelled out a couple of times to "look at this" to no avail. Can't wait to watch more....I have started at the beginning.
Love that embroidered pillow around the 8:10 mark!💙🧡
I enjoy shopping with you and Sue. It's fun to learn about the items.

Love watching both of you. There is alot to learn when dealing with antiques watching your video's helps the process. Thank you both for sharing.
So much fun to watch you two! if you ever come across a squirrel planter....please....buy....it !!!
I think that the art spoon is a Hoochy GOAT, not a snake---it's just a really skinny dancing goat. lol!
Hi ladies!💕
As always, so fun to watch the two of you having adventures in shopping Vintage! Really a great antique mall, and love watching you both score awesome deals! Thank you for sharing your adventures 🤗
I enjoy the Antique stores more than thrift stores. I love when you are able to find the hidden gems.
I have many, many nice pieces that I will sell, that sadly NEVER thought I would! I've got to get on the ball and do it! Thank you both for your inspiration and knowledge
Hoochie Snake made me spit out my coffee! 😂🤣
That happens to Mom's sometimes when they are busy in the kitchen, they lose their heads!
True dat
😂😂😂

You missed the owl cookie jar on the floor in the booth that Sue found the creamer for 1 dollar.
Please get more uranium glass we can bid on.
Our local antique store has the clearance shelves in the back. I usually walk straight to the back and start there. Have found some amazing items on those shelves at less than thrift store prices.
That embroidered pillow at 8:13 😍

I’ve seen our local Goodwill put separate prices on S&P shakers that obviously go together.
Thanks, I was searching the comments here to find out what a "muffineer" was!
You make me laugh, you will be talking them suddenly say "oh look at that." Squirrel- I do the same thing. 😂
Brenda Davis I shop like that, too! Every time I get distracted in a different direction my husband says “squirrel!”
Sue was picking up bargains like a boss!
I have some similar Parrot prints. Mine were hand colored. The one you saw looked like that too.
The $2 item looks like a jam jar. They would slip the jar in and there was a hole where you can check how much jam is left.
OMG the purple train case you missed made me cry
The antique stores in my area have very little stock when it comes to smalls and the prices are insane. I'm envious!
Great video, thanks! Love Sue's raspberry red jersey 😍😍😍
The 2 dollar evaporated milk holder!
Cure little McCoy planter would have liked the price Also used to have a booth and would have been over the moon see these two shopping it!
You two are the dynamic duo of pickin' and grinnin' and thriftin' to make a profit! With lots of grinnin LOL!
Love your videos! I have two types of purses, one for hands free shopping and my everyday purse. Sue get a crossover bag😘
Beverly Tirado ...I know belly bags are in and out of style, but there's nothing like them for shopping .
sue eason you are so right!
You missed the Noritake plate at 8:12
Love you two together
wish we had the sales up here in Canada that you folks run into....the stores, the flea markets etc. none of that up here in northern ontario! great shopping ladies :)
Tamara Barber yes I agree , in northern Ontario also
As always great fun and informative!

Nice tip on how to find the base color of the carnival glass. Thanks!
I just love the two of you. Great videos and very informative. I have some Hull pottery, worth anything?

Tfs fun treasure hunt ,both of you selected some great items & good prices . Jocelyn your hair color is absolutely perfect in this video . I vote don't change it ever ,so pretty on you .
Blessings Kathy in South Tx 😉
Enjoy Sue always !
She's stunning in general, so all the hair colors look great on her. I do admit, this one is at the top of the list.
Whoa cool doll with the green dress 👗
Ladies- you make me laugh every day. 😊
As a Mom of 3 & grandmother of 8 my head becomes detached all the time..........
I love the Barbie doll. I had never heard the word before. I can't spell it. It's in Urban Dictionary.
Sue, I love your LV Vernis Houston. I have the Vernis Reade MM but I like the Houston better I think. I love the color too. Just had to mention that. Luv it.
The hoochie snake I think was an old fashion pizza cutter
I've been looking for those tomato S&P with no luck. My mother had them when I was young in the 60s. Unfortunately, they were destroyed in a natural gas explosion. Love all your videos!

Miss seeing a video today 2/28. I hope is well. 💛
The hat pin holder would make a small bedroom lamp????
0:56 the striped teapot the left, so pretty! Maybe check it out next trip!
Oh man! I’m from Plymouth MA. Wish you got that plate.
The dogs are chop sticks rests.
Check out cast iron cookware. I am looking for a muffin mold.
Hootchie Snake :) Sue rocks :)
Love you girls!
That picture looks like my green cheek Conner...Lola ❤️❤️❤️❤️
Antique stores ROCK for prices when to hunt out the deals!! 😁😁😁😁
Next time you're there see how much that dress form (Mannequin without a head) is please. It's around 8:14 behind the pretty pillow.
See you tomorrow Hi from Texas love you video girls 😘♥️❤️
Okay girls, can you please explain what you called the hat pin holder? I am sure I'm showing my ignorance! Thank you so much for sharing such lovely things and giving us knowledge that I would not receive any where else. God bless and happy thrifting. Sherry from Alabama

Thanks Judy ! I've been around long enough I should know that, lol.
Why oh why didn’t Sue get the matching piece?? One was 1.00 the other 12.00 so that would be 6.50 per piece! They matched!!!!!
I actually didn't think they matched ... didn't the flowers look different?
Laura Pappani I thought they did perfectly. I’ll have to go back and look
Good morning from Portland Oregon 🌻
Love you ladies!❤❤❤❤
Hoochee snake omg I laughed so hard at that lol 💖
