As a kid in the 60s we used to swim at Huntington Beach. Lake Erie was so polluted back then mamma had to wipe us down with rubbing alcohol when we got home. The Cuyahoga River caught fire in the early 70s. Thank God we took action and cleaned up the Lake. It’s safe and clean now. A real national treasure. We can do it with knowledge and action.
I remember when the river caught on fire! I was a kid, and my parents were talking about it. Cleveland was kind of a joke back then. I have only been to Huntington once, but i loved it. Very chill, not overdeveloped, and naturally lovely.
Great job capturing the beauty and majesty of Huntington Beach. It’s a special place and I go there often to hike the beach and trails. Being near the water does wonders for the mind and soul.
