Adrian Rogers was Armenian and disagreed wholeheartedly with reformed theology. But, he was a faithful servant of Christ and is our brother living right now in heaven with the rest of the saints.
Oh if only we could get past our derogatory names for each other, as faithful Christians, and work together more.

@@briarpatchson3039 not sure what you mean? Both camps believe that their doctrine is what the Bible says. Technically only one can be right. And I am of the opinion the reformed theology is correct.
But that doesn’t mean we should treat brothers and sisters in Christ harshly on secondary issues.

2 “In My Father’s house are many mansions; if it were not so, I would have told you. I go to prepare a place for you.
3“And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come again and receive you to Myself; that where I am, there you may be also.
4“And where I go you know, and the way you know.”
5 Thomas said to Him, “Lord, we do not know where You are going, and how can we know the way?”
6 Jesus said to him, “I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through Me.
Also says in the Bible once you've been baptized for the remission of your sins you receive the holly spirit to can someone explain that
It makes me feel like there's more to believing that just saying someone believes you must try to walk the narrow path im not saying that you have to be perfect
Notice that our Lord Jewus was urging his disciples to believe, particularly to trust, him and to trust God. At this time it seems that his disciples were as yet unconverted. Jesus asked Philip, have I been with you so long and yet you do not know me? The disciples were yet to be born again, it seems.
The cross will bring the very gates of hell to your door.

Not the first time you've made a comment like that with no explanation. It makes me wonder if you even know what the Gospel is.
Free grace is the only true gospel.
Saving repentance is realizing that you are a sinner deserving of God's just punishment in Hell and turn (repent) from whatever you trusted in before, if indeed you trusted in anything; to trusting in the person and finished work of Christ alone for salvation.
A prayer of commitment saves nobody.
Jesus paid for all the sins of all the world at the cross (past, present, and future). That payment is put to your account when you have believed on Christ alone for salvation.
How is what you are saying different from what is being taught by Steve Lawson?
