When Nick said the Muntjac only had one leg, I was expecting this animal to come hopping across the screen on one leg 😂 . Three legs are much more stable 😂🤣
Hi guys i have really enjoyed watching the van build come together, and i cant wait for the two month european trip this summer. I have ordered a large map of europe for my wall and i am going to stick flags in each country as you travel across. I based in Pensacola Florida
There’s a Caravan and Camping Club site at Cheshire Oaks which could be a good test run in the van. It’s always good to have shops nearby on the first trip out to remedy emerging issues. An M&S food hall is always a bonus.
One time I spontaneously drove 12 hours, ate breakfast in San Francisco, and drove home.

I went to my local bar one lunchtime in the UK and there was a coach parked outside. I asked where they were going, it was Amsterdam. I asked the driver if me n my boyfriend cd come along, he agreed and we ran home to get passports and a toothbrush then jumped on. I had a new job starting on the Monday but there ended up being a ferry delay coming home so we had to fly home but we got upgraded as they sold on our tickets as we were late checking in, so we flew back business class with Champagne, smoked salmon and Newspapers....we were stoned as well. 😂
Hi guys. I'm catching up with your videos on building the van which I find hilarious. Leigh worried about it being boring but I watch your videos during the day while I'm ironing or working in the kitchen so good. I cannot wait for when you start on your trips here in UK and Europe. X the show x
When listening to you talking about going to a Star Trek convention you should start with a Comic Con event with ST guests. Theres one in Manchester with the captain of Discovery Michael Bernum I think in July 👍

When you come here to the NL which is the bike country of Europe. Have a look at our foldable electric bikes, which we use to commute on the trains. Very light weight and perfect x
Leigh is correct in thinking about what type of toilet paper can go into a composting toilet, although a toilet malfunction would make for a great vlog! LOL
Ours isn't a composting toilet. It's chemical 🚽

Some advice for with your van alloys. The chrome valve caps you should put a little bit of grease inside them. If you don’t over time they will stick to the valve and you won’t be able to check/inflate a tyre should you need to. Hope this helps 😊

Yes, it was a Muntjack, although they usually have 4 legs 😉. There are lots around here and they have no road sense.
My favourite disaster movies are 2012, San Andreas and the Day After Tomorrow. I was brought up on Country Music as my Mum loved John Denver and Glen Campbell, they always used to watch Sing Country on BBC 2 in the 70s.

With "mobile" toilets not all toilet paper is handled the same and if they have a dense weave can clog the pipes including the discharge tube. Companies like Thetford produce toilet papers which they have tested to breakdown in the cassette or tank. The usual rule is" not to put anything down the toilet unless you have eaten it first". Like in some Med countries the used toilet paper should be bagged and disposed of separately leaving just the "organic" matter inside the loo. Not the most pleasant, but then neither is trying to puggle out soaking toilet tissue paper,........
Be careful with the van toilet or else you'll end up with a stinky situation. A friend used some toilet paper that was not recommended to use in RVs. The line was clogged with the stuff when he went empty it and let's just say it took a while to get rid of the odor inside of his RV
I prefer Morrisons beans Nick, never Heinz, that outlet is very near me, nice that you get out n about on a whim.😊

We've gone via York into top end of Leeds instead of M62 because of exact reason for 30mph slow zone
What smart watch do you both use to track your steps? Don't feel my current watch is accurate.
We like East Mids but Cannock in Staffordshire the McArthur Glen outlet is better lots more choice, we like York too love a bargain 😅
Most definitely a Nick - LOVE the idea of being spontaneous and being free, especially when you have access to a car!
Also, a 10 hour round trip to see the finest city of Wales - can't fault your idea at all 😊

Guys you should always wash Grapes befote eating !!
A soak in baking soda & sea salt removes the dull coat on grapes.
Have not seen Mark and Hannah and the kids for a while, when will you be catching up with them next.
So what music do you prefer to listen to on car journeys Nick? We like listening to Audiobooks. We listen to a JK Rowling as Robert Galbraith Strike book while in Florida and a Terry Prachet book.
He likes to listen to absolute country on DAB radio

Maybe someone has already told you but you know you can use biological washing tablets instead of toilet liquid? Smells so much better even when used and is lighter and easier to port around. We got the aldi ones, much cheaper too.
I thought you said the vlogs were meant to be longer now you’ve reduced to three days a week?
This was filmed before we decided to go down to 3 a week. 👍

The discussion about spontaneity and what counts as being spontaneous was about as pure Nick and Leigh as you could get. It’s moments like that that are amongst some of my favorite of your vlogs. 😄
