Someone has to say it: Audi has been selling the same cars for the last 20 years. Just look at any Audi vehicle from the side and you’ll see minimal changes. They just change the front/rear and update their interiors.
@@Someothername2134IMO, I don’t know what so many people are crying about that Audi’s look and design is so ‘outdated’. As always guys, an excellent overview. I love my ‘21 Q7 Prestige which honestly isn’t that much different than the ‘25 model overall. We have owned Audi's since 2012 and it's time for a change. The Q7 looks and feels like its 10 years old and the third seat area is basically useless. How many refreshes can you do and not update any of the power trains other than a few tweak's. The competition has improved and I thought I'd never say this but am looking at Japanese..primarily Mazda whom I feel has really improved and very cost competitive at 20+k less.
This thing has awesome features and great safety features but when it comes to using this vehicle as a regular vehicle and for a family or long trip it's just not good. Bad design and no room for anything inside for the driver and passenger.
Honestly, if it were me I would save money and get the VW Atlas which also got a refresh. For one, the refresh was more extensive and major than the refresh for this Q7. This refresh is very bland at least for this 45 model that you guys tested. Feature wise, this and the Q7 are pretty much in line. This has a little bit more stuff but it doesn’t make a big difference. In addition to that, the atlas is more practical than this and practicality matters so much in this segment. Its a shame that a compact crossover has more places to put stuff than this. Im also not a fan of all the gloss black used. I couldn’t do it. Too much gloss black would gave me a headache to wipe down and keep clean because of dust and finger prints. I wish Audi would’ve expanded the use of leather. Gloss black seems quite cheap on a 71k suv. Thats a gripe I have on all Audi’s though. You definitely would be better off spending 56 grand on an Atlas SEL premium R-Line than this.
