This is a good explanation. In my RP Law deck I run a 1 of unblockable luffy and 1 of Rad Beam but they are searchable off the 1c event I run. I've liked my ratios. Been running them for a few weeks now
Some other things that impact the choice - You want a 5th copy. Gum Gum Jet Gatling and Rain could fall into this ratio - The card is searchable. Jambe often falls into this as well. Same with 9beard
Single cards that act as a 5th card for a particular effect are cool. Stuff like the single law blocker you mention around 12:00 could make sense as an alternate to the 4 cards you have with similar effect (like an uta blocker maybe in that scenario?). I agree usually you want one-off's to be strong situational cards, but could see that point in some lists.
I've been playing blue doffy for a few sets now. I run a one off 4c rush usopp. Its great. No one expects rush in blue. Thats the reason why I run 1. If I would run more then one playing the second one wouldnt be a surprise to the opponent.
I know saka is not broken but it is dual colored witch has 2 searches and with op 07 you could run a navy/warlord deck if you ban saka leader you save cards for other leaders
I think that zoro is better as a two off at that point. because you are using him as an alternate win condition when you hit 9 don, the only problem I have with running zoro specifically in Yamato is that the turn you play zoro you can't really attack with leader effectively (a 6k at best) which might hurt your tempo in a major way. but that being said, he does really synergize with O-nami and 20000 volts.

hey great video, the explaination for running one ofs make sense, they seem pretty logical but a lot of people kinda just over look the small stuff

as a new OP player this is super helpful
After opening hand you have 40-43 cards in deck depending on lead
Literally what i was thinking
Kuzan is tall af tho
Is this your current BP Croc list?
Would you say that 9 drop zoro is a justifiable 1 of? I've been thinking of using at least one in G/Y Yamato.
