It isn't that rich people lower your chances it is just that some of them are dicks, and use their resources to screw you over and take your liberties like Gates. It isn't about them being rich just that a few of them just aren't good people and due to their resources, it becomes more evident and impactful. Their wealth amplifies their actions, and unfortunately, if those actions are self-serving or harmful, the effects can be significant and widespread. It's crucial to remember that not all wealthy individuals act in this manner, but those who do often cast a long shadow over others. Therefore, the issue isn't wealth itself, but rather how it is used and the character of the person wielding it.

Great advise as always. I look at it like this, you can be dirt or water. When dirt reaches an obstacle it stops and piles up but water finds the cracks and get through. I chose to find the cracks and get through. Failure is the obstacle to either pile up against or get through.

Hey Andrei, thank you very much for your videos, and especially the end of this one. I am the type of guy that sits a lot on youtube, watching lots of content, finance videos, videos of workouts, music and even lots of motivational videos, and really never ever have written a comment in more than 10 years, nor push the like buttons. The problem isn't just all rich people though, I agree. It's extremely wealthy families that control massive companies, which employ thousands or tens of thousands of people. Lets just point at Walmart for a sec. They treat their employees like crap, pay them like crap, yet they make record earnings every year. The company doesn't innovate or offer anything new - they just open more stores to do the same thing. I think companies or families like that, SHOULD have to pay a higher share. If you're not treating your people well, you have to pay high taxes.

So if a company like Walmart doesn't pay their workers enough, everyone who is a taxpayer in America (even if they never shop at walmart) have to pay their taxes and these taxes pay for the benefits that the government provides these people that don't make enough.
Walmart is essentially not paying their workers enough so that way every tax payer in America contributes to these underpaid people's financial well being for basic needs.
Most poor people choose to shop at Walmart and have no clue that they are supporting a corporation that exploits Americans. They just see a lower price and then go about their day.
Any business that can't afford to pay a living wage to every employee is not a viable business. I don't care so much about them paying more in taxes (though they should) as much as paying the people who do their work to make them a successful company. That's what drives a thriving economy.
