@@Sxhm It doesn't matter. Four to 5 years ago, I think i'ts a 50-50 situation. Today, Colby has less than 10%, as per UFC historical statistics, which said that in only 2 fights out of 29, that someone aged 35 or older has been able to take the belt from a prime opponent, from Welterweight down to Flyweight. That's ~7%. Colby's ploddiness.... his penchants for biting down on his mouthpiece, lowering his head, and swinging blindly forth MAY very be his down fall, against an actual elite striker in his very prime --- who, again, is bigger, taller, stronger and faster than Colby ---- a situation (a combination of MMA skills and physicality assets) Colby has NEVER gone against in his entire UFC career. I think the main event is interesting because on paper you can really see it as a close fight where you can feasibly go with Colby, but it really depends on the route he actually takes and just where he is right now. The key points you talk bout are his pressure and his ability to control with wrestling, and both of those things have oddly fallen off a bit in recent fights. In the Usman rematch in particular he fought way more on the back foot than usual for the first half of the fight and it really showed how limited he is on the feet when he's not just walking you down. And with his wrestling he's mostly about pressure and mat returns than he is about control, and I actually thought he didn't look great against a pretty shot Masivdal. If you look at the stats he has a ton of control time against Masvidal, but IIRC a lot of that was clinching against the cage. Leon is so much better in the clinch than Masvidal, and if Colby decides pressure less on the feet like he's done his last couple fights, he's in Leon's world. Exactly, most of the drops were flash split second knockdowns, not like he rolled around on the floor not knowing where he was. Colby is one of the toughest fighters in the UFC. Unless Colby takes a break in the octagon, i can't see Leon having the chance to snipe him (remember Leon only had the chance to snipe Usman with that headkick in the last round because Usman got cocky and decided to hang back and strike with Leon instead of continuing with the wrestle barrages, fatal mistake). Leon is way too laid back, Colby will not stop pressuring. I think it's going to be a gruelling 5 round decision for Colby.
@@dude9038leon isn’t “laid back” he point fights at range. very big difference. also usman wasn’t coasting in the 5th, he was trying to get a finish and got ko’d bc of it (per usman himself on jre) so idk where you got that info from.
I prefer starting with the first fights of the night and working up to the main event. But honestly, as long as it’s bookmarked, it doesn’t really matter.
The only reasons why paddy is a -350 favorite is because of his youth and the fact that Tony is on a 6 fight losing streak. I think it's pretty much a 50/50 fight, Paddy ain't all that
Also Brian Kelleher has been out because of his neck surgery does anyone not do any research at all? Thinking he’s just wanting to not be there? Lol he’s actually jumping back in pretty fast after a serious surgery.
Boxers like Geoff Neal matchup better against Shavkat's weakness. If Geoff Neal, who is a better boxer than Wonderboy and is much more powerful and missed weight and was massive, couldn't KO Shavkat, then it's very unlikely that Wonderboy will.
Is it just me, or did it seemed like almost everyone was picking Colby to win in their likely matchup initially when Dana said Colby was next, then the crowd changed their pick in their final prediction because they just couldn't handle the backlash of believing in Covington?

if you put the clips you mention quickly in the video as you talk about it that'd be sick. love the vids gang
0-2 to leons son all colby can do is hug against the cage
smelling leon's crotch area😂😂
or take him down… Leon point fights and against Colby thats not a good idea
Hey Papa Weasle, can you please do a breakdown on how to interpret "odds" for us casuals :D
Had a 10 legged hit last weekend. First like that in mma. 10$ into 1100$. Should have put more but had a few more parlays hit too. But that was by far the best.
I’ve got a 6-fight parlay on. £5 to win £870.84
Need these to win though 🤨
- Mitchell
- Fili
- Menifield
- Salikhov
- Pimblett
- Thompson
@@Milburt good luck. After seeing paddy and Tony. I think Tony gonna take it. He seems to be in a great mindset. Paddy seems like he has a lot going on in life
@@SMOKEtillUReyezBLEED thanks I need it lol. Good luck to you too 👍
O'Neil just got finished by Lipski. I am now 0-2 in my DFS lineups with 4 to go because of this video 😂😂 would've been 0-3 but I took out Durden. No hate though, love all the content you make brother.
I feel you may be slightly overestimating Ian Garry vs Vicente Luque but we’ll see
This card is going to be a banger 👌🏾
You’re really really underestimating Colby it’s actually surprising! He got dropped and recovered quickly on every occasion like instantly
@dude9038 it's Ferguson time for colby
@@dude9038leon isn’t “laid back” he point fights at range. very big difference. also usman wasn’t coasting in the 5th, he was trying to get a finish and got ko’d bc of it (per usman himself on jre) so idk where you got that info from.
I prefer starting with the first fights of the night and working up to the main event. But honestly, as long as it’s bookmarked, it doesn’t really matter.
I’m glad you started doing the entire card only the main card was too short
The only reasons why paddy is a -350 favorite is because of his youth and the fact that Tony is on a 6 fight losing streak. I think it's pretty much a 50/50 fight, Paddy ain't all that
Always rooting for Tony!!!
I prefer starting with prelims and working to the main same as how they occur live.
Also Brian Kelleher has been out because of his neck surgery does anyone not do any research at all?
Thinking he’s just wanting to not be there?
Lol he’s actually jumping back in pretty fast after a serious surgery.
Thank god we'll never have to listen to your blind fanboyism with Colby ever again 🙏😂 dude is done
I like the main event predictions first, but I and others prolly wouldn’t stay for the rest, so up to you
I'm surprised Bryce Mitchell is -210 against Emmet, I think Emmet's a good bet there
Start with the undercard, from the first fight to the main event. Love it, brother. 👌🏻
No thanks I’m not here for prelims
@@NickLang66866, and you clearly don’t watch the entire video, so you can skip ahead and move on.
Tony's fights aren't even competitive now. The ufc only keep him around because he's a fan favourite but he sucks now.
Great predictions man, hope you’re right.
Wonderboy kos shavkat 💯 that guy has no head movement 😂
Boxers like Geoff Neal matchup better against Shavkat's weakness.
If Geoff Neal, who is a better boxer than Wonderboy and is much more powerful and missed weight and was massive, couldn't KO Shavkat, then it's very unlikely that Wonderboy will.
Undercard 1st, main last. Keep it the way it is brother👊
I agree from the bottom up is the way to go. Appreciate the videos Weasel!
Is it just me, or did it seemed like almost everyone was picking Colby to win in their likely matchup initially when Dana said Colby was next, then the crowd changed their pick in their final prediction because they just couldn't handle the backlash of believing in Covington?
I've had edwards the entire time. Colby bootlickington 0 wins against current ranked welterweights
@@440-fishermandrock8 good for you haha
Irene aldana from the next mexican sensation to the prelims 💀
I feel like Tony is going to duck low and eat a leg kick to finish of his career idk why but I think this might be the last time we see Tony in the UFC I think age is such a big factor in this fight
Putting Paddy as the prospect of the night over Shavkat should be a criminal offense.
ranked guys aren’t prospects. especially guys in the top 5 (shavkat) they’re contenders.
I love how you constantly push gambling to your audience, it's so amazing
I'd like to put some down on Wonderboy... won't let us here in GA. 😢
24:00 other angle showed colby knee didn't touch the ground
Leon is gonna be the biggest person Colby ever tried wrestling in the octagon. Colby ain’t got it.
Should be a burner, but Colby’s pressure will be too much.
@@jasont7814 don’t think the pressure will hold up after getting overpowered and out-struck in the clinch.
@@Kimura1313 Leon is a sniper, he likes distance. I think Colby wins the clinch battle.
@@jasont7814 calling him a sniper is not giving him enough credit. Leon is a monster in the clinch and he’ll have strength and height on Colby. Colby won’t be able to find a place of comfort in the fight.
@@Kimura1313 Leon's clinch work against Usman was indeed nasty, that's the real problem for Colby, not the range or counters as people are suggesting. Colby needs to control Leon on the ground for a round or two to gas him out to have a chance.
Colby by unanimous decision
Tony by ko/TKO
Shavkat by Sub
These are my pridiction..
We need predictions for the press conference
i think you should read the rest of card predictions from bottom to top then for the featured ones should be after
I got Colby too.
always love these. feature fights first make sense.
Money is on !?
I am not saying Kelleher's going to win the fight against Cody, but DO NOT overlook the opponents Kelleher has lost to. His last 4 out of 5 losses were against killers (Mario Bautista, Umar Nurmagomedov, Ricky Simon, and Montel Jackson). This is the second prediction video I've watched where Kelleher's opponents were not given much credit.
Let’s go Colby!
Vicente wasn’t really grappling vs RDA it was RDA igniting most of the grappling sequences
I think the long layoff will benefit Colby in this fight, he got the dragon energy in him. He took people down even in sloppy fashion, but it gets the job done
“The dragon energy” … Niiiieeech. What’s going to benefit Colby is he didn’t have to fight anyone dangerous to get another title shot.
And I’m quite sure Colby will beat Leon, but let’s stop pretending he earned another title shot.
colby got a lot of ring rust
@@justinafuchs2619 Leon never earned his shot. Came off a layoff to beat an old Nate Diaz then got a shot. Got destroyed for 5 rounds and got one lucky kick.
@@truthoverlies6434leon was on a 9 fight unbeaten streak. colby is coming off 1 win against a 38 year old masvidal on a losing streak
@@truthoverlies6434 You Colby nuthuggers are the worst of the worst .. At least he was on 9 fight winning streak. Colby fights once in a year, fighting old, washed fighters and ducking anyone dangerous.
The difference between Leon and Colby is Leon beat Usman twice and Colby lost to Usman twice. Duh.
