You are amongst my new favorites. My strategy just CAN NOT be betting against my instinct. After 2 weeks of demo I find that the market always moves against me. So, I could either always bet against myself or start listening to every word you say so I can figure out what I got wrong. Betting against my instinct is a horrible strategy even though it is currently a winning one.
Scalping is the most fun for me but I think I should stick to trading with support/resistance and patterns on higher timeframes much less stressful and easier to not get tilted

Great Vid! If you don’t get a setup for that day do you still put anything in your journal since there is no setup to journal? and if so what do you put in your journal when you don’t get a setup that day?
Thanks for the compliment. If I don’t get a setup for the day I still markup my idea zones to buy/sell from. Sometimes the play may happen the next day. If the market isn’t moving I normally backtest and get reps in with setups that match the current potential play to help prepare my mind to shoot.
bro any help on how I can grade my setups and know when its A+ or C , I treat all trades the same cause I never know if its going to be a loss or not, how do I differentiate , the probabilities of the next trade
@@abdullahrasheed this year has been difficult and i feel in the middle of all the bs i just told my self well on to the next one, never stopping to really see where i was going wrong. your videos plus alot of ict studying have been the best wake up call in my trading journey. I made a playbook and looked into my data really using the formula you put in writing helped me see how foolish i have been trading. Its quite astonishing really because my strategy works well but my psychology was just off, since September i stopped and am currently studying and backtesting more to get ready for ftmo in the next month or so
@@MandoTrades - I'm glad to hear that I can help. I hope the best for you. The good news is you have a strategy that works. If you don't have a working strategy, your psychology doesn't matter. So edge + psychology + risk management is going to take you a long way.
They trade stocks and options so I recommend you read Mike Bellafiore’s two books first and try to apply the principles to your trading. There trainings are expensive so if you can grab the principles from their books and apply them to FX, CFDs indices, etc then that’ll be a better route.
The moment one discovers Bellafiore is the moment one begins to get their shit together. The dude is like your account in that he isn't interested in the lies we tell ourselves. Legendary role model for all traders. If Mike writes something, read it. If he says something, listen.
Bella is a Legend. Also, Lance Breitstein. These guys have done so much for the traders who don’t know what it likes to work on the floor of a proprietary firm.
