It's easy to forget how normal and subtle it can be when it wants to be, it just doesn't want to be. I dearly love mine, it's been on my board for years and is never coming off.
totally! it took me a minute for that mindset to sink in. Once I started really pushing it to the limit I started to really enjoy just how versatile and insane this pedal really is. How do you like using yours?
@ I set it up kinda like I would a DMM and then push it into "broken DMM" territory! Just some mellow delays, about as long as they go without getting too glitchy, just enough fuzz so you know it's there and just enough modulation to make you question if it's a regular delay pedal that's broken or warped.
I love the noisy repeats at 5:25. The echo degrader does the same thing. I was searching for so long for a cheaper alternative, but most other delays with lofi getting too much into the bitcrusher section.
Thanks! I’ve always wanted to try the echo degrader! Yah I feel like the mini van echo from dwarfcraft when they were still around did a similar thing. The Echo dream 2 is totally worth it and does it beautifully! Also the modulation is wild in the best way!
@@pedalgaze Wow the mini van echo sounds nice! Very simple, but does the job. Oh and now I remember that the line 6 mk 2 has a vintage digital delay that does the same thing. But I can't remember if it sounds as good as the others
@@bonjonbovi- yeah it's so cool. I have the super wizard which is a mini van and a wizard of pitch combined into one pedal! I have a dl4 mk2 I'll definitely check that setting out!
thanks! I was jamming on that setting for 30 minutes alone! there's some much sounds you can get out of this pedal. and it loves distortion. Happy exploring!
I just thought about you today and how it’d be lovely if you’d upload again, I learned so much about the boss DD-8 from the last video, it’ll be super cool if you’d do the same with the re-2 😊

@@akleperp hell yeah! thanks for sharing! I personally love pushing it and anything for that matter into broken territory!
😮...hmmm, OH...😅 ! ❤😂This pedal is insane!!! A must have, thanks for your wonderful sounding demo ~
Haha! Thanks so much! It truly is amazingly chaotic! Cheers!
Loving this. I don’t explore mine enough so thanks for the inspiring sounds. I got a self-oscillation footswtich added to mine. Great for freakouts.
thanks so much! happy you enjoyed it. It's such a versatile pedal. Can do subtle to bonkers! that's awesome! Love a good ole freakout!
looking forward to your Echo Dream + Rooms collab!
Hopefully one day!

The squarewave arpeggiated segment fucking rips. I'm tempted to replace my avalanche run with this!

That’s awesome! Happy to hear you got something from it! Once I get my hands on an re-2 I’ll be sure to make a video or two!

heck ya it does!🖤
@@pedalgaze hella yes!!🧡
