I like how each level in this campaign has a different theme- Black Corsair - humans Macaque - primates Deep King - sharks Spectro - undead Captain Blackthorne - all 4 of the previously mentioned groups
Black Corsair: can summon cannon attack Macacue: can summon mob Deep king: can summon mob, regen, and destroy towers Spektro: can deal high dmg, invincibility, and prevent you from using certain skill for a while Blackthrone: can destroy your tower, stun certain, steal your money
I reallt thought i can’t kill Spectro until i realize he can be block by infantry units, eventhough Spectro is a flying boss. The rest is simple, just buy - upgrade - sell your infantry tower to spawn soldiers to block Spectro.
@@IvanFV. well you don't fight the 5 at once, but at some point will face 2 at once, this is the 1st time in the entire franchise we have something like this, definitely the most unique level I've played
this dlc felt much harder than the hammerhold one on impossible, but it was beyond exiting and fun with a nice cliff hanger at the end. (it might just be a pre requisite to alliance and i am stupid)
At Treasure Island, you get a rematch with the four Pirate Kings already fought in the previous stages: the Black Corsair at the start of wave 5, Macaque at the end of wave 5, Deep King at the start of wave 12 and Spectro at the end of wave 12 before facing off against Blackthorne at wave 15. I honestly think the first four Pirate Kings should have been in a random order every time you play the level. (That way, the player will never know who will go next.)
Genuinely some of the best bosses in the series, black corsair is just a fun boss despite being very simple, macaque is really unique with the fruit splatter, deep king is really tough with his constant healing, spectro just looks sick and has the cool ability blocking mechanic, the boss rush is super fun and intense especially when trying to take deep king out quickly, and blackthorne is my personal favourite because I love how they kept all of his classic abilities from frontiers, despite his somewhat underwhelming difficulty
In case you guys forget, Corsair is a friendly NPC in KDR frontiers and Blackthorne is a hero in frontiers. I usually disable all of blackthorne ability, only leaving the gold hack so that he can focus on generate gold.
Spectro is the first proper flying boss in the series. (The Overseer can only be targeted by towers that can target fliers, but is stationary and otherwise appears grounded.)
Wait--the ending. Those three stuff, the stone looks like Vez'nan, while the other is a human king, similar to Denas. Did they just reveal the reason why Vez'nan needed Denas to defeat the Alliance final boss????
Am i the only one who realized that spectro and lucerna are literally related like they have the same attack the same boat the same attack animation the same short distance movement
Quite a difficult DLC for me. The first two level is easy, but the third and last level where particularly difficult for my first playthrough. I had to abuse blazing gem and dianyun (on impossible) and still got 2 stars, even tho i want to use the new hero and tower more. On the last level i had lots of gold but my tower keep getting destroyed at the end and got robbed so many times, the boss always target the expensive tower. The sharks counter barrack, fast, tanky. Swarming every lane.
It's sad how weak bosses are lately (especially their damage). We never had some like the ones from the first Kingdom Rush and Frontiers 😥😥😥 The Blackthorne has a lot of life but can be imobilized by some ogres, because of its damage which is not worthy of a final boss.
Vengeance is a masterpiece but they really f it up on Alliance. Casual mode of a alliance is like veteran of other games and only a few tower and hero options. They made the alliance pay to win. Either mobs has tonnes of hp or our towers so weak. Not even mention about sheer amount of mobs
I expected a bit more out of his abilities and also maybe for the corsair battle with his ship's carrondades Like have his kraken ability be like Malik's tower slot destroying (up to 3 at a time) and regular cannon fire from his ship@massimohack4747

Holy moly mixed boss fights?
I guess you can count this video as both a showcase and a "Can you beat the new dlc with just the new tower/hero on impossible"
deep king caught me by surprise on impossible. i was skating through with 20 lives but he took all my damn towers and i had no money left
Black Corsair: can summon cannon attack
Macacue: can summon mob
Deep king: can summon mob, regen, and destroy towers
Spektro: can deal high dmg, invincibility, and prevent you from using certain skill for a while
Blackthrone: can destroy your tower, stun certain, steal your money

We had 2 heroes in Alliance, now 2 bosses in Vengeance. The next game's gonna be epic
We got 5 bosses in the last level, I freaking love this dlc

Man deep king seems so OP than the others, bro can casually eat towers and heal and walk decent fast
You forgot the guy summons mobs 😂😂
So stupidly op

He can be block by ground units, which is the end of him. Just micro your ground units in and out of his attack range and he can be block forever
