'Jersey Shore' Cast Reacts to Snooki Getting Punched in the Face.

- The cast of the "Jersey Shore" sits down with ET's Mark Steines to reflect on the horrific night when cast member Nicole "Snooki" Polizzi was punched in the face by a man in a bar.
"It's really hard for me to watch," Snooki says of watching the punch that was caught on camera. "The first time I saw it, [I] started hysterically crying. ... It came out of nowhere."
Jenni "J-WOWW" Farley says she was directly behind Snooki at the time of the punch and says she caught her cast mate. "It was horrifying," J-WOWW tells ET. "My arms, everything was just covered in blood. ... It was a grown man hitting a tiny, tiny girl."
"I don't care what a girl says, you still don't put your hands on her," Paul Delvecchio, also known as DJ Pauly D, reacts to the incident.
Snooki recalls the blow to the face, "I think I blacked out for a few seconds because I don't remember getting punched. ... All I remember is being on the floor holding my mouth and being like, 'What just happened?"

Faded Twinkie the cast told later that they had to buy the drinks and food with their own money. You can google it. And thinking that this happened in Season 1. they didn’t even had that much money yet. This was the beginning. Imagine you are going out 5 times a week. So yeah I can understand why she gets mad. It’s expensive though.

Umm.. I don't know if you seen what we seen. The only person that hit him was Jenni.
Jersey shore was and still is probably one of the most real “reality” shows. So many others go off a script in one way or another. But this group here, they are truly a family. None of them were playing a part, they were all being themselves, enjoying life and doing what 20yr olds do. I love seeing them now, they’ve all grown into amazing people, they have beautiful families, but most of all they’re in each others lives every day, they will be a family for life!
I think S4 it became a lot more scripted tbh, there was a few girls they picked up in S1 looking like girls they picked up in S2 so there might have been some plants for that
I enjoyed the show but that is mostly fake. Lots of people witnessed them filming the same scenes over and over and it's all scripted. Only this punch is real. Especially when it was revealed by the locals that most of the filming in Italy was fake with extras. I don't care if it's scripted, it's just an entertainment show, as long as it's fun. But the fact that people believe it's real is pretty funny to me. When you're filming the real world, very little actually happens. The cast members were only fighting in front of the camera for money.

As a woman who has been punched in the face by an abusive ex husband, i feel for her. I blacked out for a second as well and ended up with a black eye and bruising all over. Not something i would wish on anyone else. Im glad it wasnt worse because she took a hard hit.

Snooki was out of control at one point in her life, but now that she is married, and has two babies she has really turned her life around. Sometimes I think viewers forget that reality tv involves people brought together for their unique personalities, not their acting abilities. MOST OF THE TIME. This was early reality tv so of course they're unsure of what to do, they act up because of the cameras sure, but also just from the stress of being limited in their actions and just knowing people see and will judge everything they do.
