  • This video was recorded during the automn of 2019.
(Featuring Natalie Tegelberg) In this video we show you different ways of greeting someone who doesn't use his arms. Some ways are more serious than others.
This channel belongs to me, Vega (or MegaVega, as I'm called on the web). Here I upload content about the life I live together with my boyfriend David (who's also my best friend). We are an interabled couple, living in Sweden.
'Interabled couple' means that one person in the relationship is able-bodied and the other one is not. David has AMC - Arthrogryposis multiplex congenita. He's in a wheelchair and has no use of his arms.

    ----------
Vega Ranstam, more known as MegaVega, is a Swedish sign language interpreter and sign language teacher, born and raised in the south of Sweden. For many years she’s been producing free to use material for children and adults who want to learn sign language through music. The last years she has also devoted her time to be an independent accessibility advocate, spreading information and positive vibes about accessibility and possibility in life.
Her boyfriend David Lega is a former entrepreneur and swimmer who beat 14 world records during his career. In 2011 he changed careers into politics and became Deputy Mayor of Gothenburg, Sweden - and in 2019 he was elected a Member of the European Parliament.
Oh, by the way - David and Vega is an interabled couple, since David is in a wheelchair and has no use of his arms. Vega is not his caregiver, she is his girlfriend. The caregiving part is done by employed people.
This is the story of their life. A life filled with joy, wheelchairs, caregivers, lazy days on the couch and busy days at work. They travel the world, work and relax, just like any other couple - but in their own way.

Great! Next, can you put up a video on how to greet someone with a disability - during the covid-19 pandemic? :D

Very good, but you left out the ever offensive "pat on the head."

Andrew Yarborough Yes, there are many more that we left out this time. We didn’t want a video that was far too long.
