We had already lost our two best defenders before the tournament and also we lost our the other tough defender thanks to UEFA and our defense caused the lost . Anyway we lost the game , congratulations. At least a team qualified which wants to play football . I want to give you some hope . Whoever beats us always plays the final so in that case you must play in the final and I’m sure everyone in our country will support the Netherlands .
I agree Turkey played well, and was exciting to watch (except for the Portugal game ;))
But you should really be angry with Demiral, not the UEFA. What was he thinking ?
@@martijn_yt first of all that symbol is our symbol and it’s not offensive for anyone . While Serbian didn’t have any penalty for their Chetnik Salute directly offensive sign they didn’t any punishment and while Shakiri didn’t have any punishment while we got it . Also Bellingham didn’t get anything for being disrespect . It’s disgusting to see this hypocrisy. Who can blame the see Netherlands to have a dragon symbol on their football federation flag and who can blame any sixth player if they make a dragon sign . This is just hypocrisy and in fact reality of Uefa that they choose who to win unfortunately. We are tired of this hypocrisy.

Are you guys as surprised as I am that we haven't been playing 5-3-2 for this tournament? I thought 3/5 at the back looked pretty good for those warm up games against Iceland and Canada. Anyway, I don't expect Koeman to suddenly shift from 4-3-3, but I really wish he would! Also, I think Malen should start. He is very dangerous. Do you guys think he could be an option in the middle in place of Depay? Has he ever done that for his club, Dortmund?
I said many years ago that I would get a tattoo if we won the world cup. It didn't happen that time. I too will get one if we win the euros! Bring on England!

I like the idea of Weghorst starting and Memphis at 10. Then right wing would be Malen, Xavi or Frimpong can't decide but probably Malen.

Yellow cards expire after quarter finals. They would not have carried forward to the semi finals.
@@danielwong8285 which is why it was good Schouten and others didn't pick up a yellow card in the quarter final. A card in the last game would have led to a suspension against England.
@@FootballOranje My understanding is, if Schouten (and others on a single yellow) got another yellow in the QF, it would be "cancelled" at the completion of the QF game and thus, available vs England? Or am I reading that wrong? Perhaps the rule is: if Schouten got a yellow in the SF game, he would not be suspended for the Final (e.g. previous yellow was cancelled).
Absolutely atrocious display from oranje. We barely scraped past turkey with nothing but luck. How can a team with some of the best defenders in the world have the worst defense in the tournament? Shambolic doesn't even begin to describe it.
I wouldn't call it atrocious. We weren't sharp enough in the final third in the first half and we switched off for the goal - not great, I know. Second half showed desire, quality in attack, but we didn't defend outside the box well enough and we invited the pressure.
@@FootballOranje I'll rephrase: the defense was atrocious, not the rest. We defended even worse than we did against Austria and were lucky to not concede 3-4 goals. Verbruggen made at least two clutch saves and van de Ven one.
The back like is never in sync, constantly one defender is left alone to deal with Yilmaz counter attacking and van dijk and Dumfries were both in both trouble once each.
When inside the box we have 3-4 plays converging on a 1x1 meter space because they're staring at the ball, leaving other areas wide open for opposing players to get off nigh on 100% chances inside or just outside the box.
Can you imagine, at least turkey scored twice. Luckily we still have England and France for some hard needed entertainment and class football 😂
Simons is sooooo awful and wasteful. Depay does nothing useful as a 9. The team better play with much more speed and urgency and fighting spirit if they wanna win the tournament. They were so slow and casual even after conceding 1-0.
Simons picked up some great positions in the first half. He was wasteful. I thought we had speed, urgency and fighting spirit throughout. No composure in the first half.
Bare in mind the best dutch player isn't even at the tournament. Frenkie is sorely missed in some of these performances.
However, Schouten has been a very good replacement. If de Jong was fit, there would be no Schouten.
