Here in Brasil we had the audios the man sent to his boss actually after the killings.
He felt dishonored and humiliated. Asked the security guard to stoped beating him, and when he left he said: YOU SIGNED YOUR DEATH SENTENCE.
So the guards should be more cautious, they had just been threatened.
The guy was a rural area truck driver, he had an unregistered 38. Revolver...he was drinking at the bar, went to the restroom, the woman followed suspecting he was snorting cocaine.
Turns out he was not, he was just having trouble zipping his oants or something, but the woman started upscaling the conflict by sllaping him in the face, and than came the male guard. The woman and man were husband and wife and worked for 20 dollars a night each on that establiment and others around the town.
The man was a countryman, truck driver, no criminal record, but he was drunk, felt humiliated...so he went to his house, missing one pair of his flip flops, said goodbye to his wife and dog, went back, killed them both, and went into hiding. Sent some audios via WhatsApp to his boss telling all that happened and what he just did, and thats how we got all the info prior to poloce investigation, whoch would be confirmed later when he got arrested with no resistance, less than 24 hours afterwards.

De-escalation is the key. My mother worked as an Armed security guard in Vegas for many years. She was feminine and not big and imposing like her male counterparts. When handling drunk males, the other Male Armed security guards, although present, would hang back several feet and let her as a Female go speak to the unruly drunk and walk him out peaceably. This worked almost 100% and very rarely resulted in the male security having to get involved. because the drunk was not humiliated by another male and instead persuaded by a female.

RIP to those guards. I'm an armed guard in CA, btw. Unfortunately these guards learned a lesson for all of us (for those that don't think) Don't start problems. You never get physical with people unless they're starting it. If the guy doesnt want to leave your property simply call the cops, keep a visual, a lot of times people leave as soon as you start dialing. Armed or not, you're not a cop and you should never forget that regardless of the tools you have on you. Yes, wear an ACTUAL bulletproof vest if any vest. I'd wear one even if unarmed and make sure it's stab proof (#1 form of attacks towards security, especially if they see you're unarmed) Moral of the story, stay humble, treat people with respect no matter what they're doing, work on your emotional fitness so you dont start hitting people without provocation (them attempting to physically hurt you) and know that people know where you are after they leave, they can come back with the upper hand of the element of surprise. Be a sane, sober, moral, prudent citizen and security guard, if applicable.

What the security guards did was definitely wrong. But from this and other incidents on this channel I've learned it can be dangerous to remain at a scene after a weaponless conflict if one of the combatants is able to leave. Knowing where you might be, they can come back armed or with armed friends. It's important to have situational awareness pre-confrontation, and be aware of post-confrontation dangers.

I know an "unarmed" security guard, but he has a CCW and carries several weapons in addition to his firearm. Probably OC spray, a tactical knife and whatnot. He looks unarmed but that's definitely not the case. So, just because you aren't an official looking open carry guard, doesn't mean you can't still be packing. And it only makes sense, especially if you choose a job like this AND have a propensity for violence
