you prolly dont give a shit but if you're stoned like me during the covid times then you can watch all the latest series on InstaFlixxer. I've been watching with my girlfriend for the last few days xD
Daisy you are epic. That made my day, I’m still grinning, she is such a wonderful friend. I love the silver, the dendritic is always my favourite, so naturally exquisite, but not a patch on Daisy.💕
You and Daisy reminded me when I was a kid, if I borrowed one of dad’s hunting dogs and it took off after something, I’d lay my jacket on the ground and the next morning she’d be laying on it waiting for me to come pick her up. Never failed. Man’s best friend indeed. Saved me from many a whooping. The old man thought a lot about his dogs. My how times gone by. I wouldn’t, couldn’t hunt today.
A few years ago when detecting at a very remote mine, Daisy was chased by a bear. I laid my jacket on the ground for her, (just like you used to do) and then went looking for her. However, she backtracked her own trail and showed up a while later. If I lost my dog, my wife would have whooped me (like your Dad).
My dog acts like Daisy when I come up to him. Also, he buries his nose in whatever he's laying on rubbing his face with his paws. It's the sweetest thing about him.
Really thrilled with all the experimenting with filmography you're adding to the videos. It's a nice touch and shows a lot of thought. Keep up the great videos man! We're loving them! Happy prospecting!
DaisyCam is great and swimming was fun !!!! She sure looks pretty active. What a wonderful day !! If I could get out some extra pain killers, I'd love to go on a rockhounding expedition with your group. This was so much fun just watching, I'd probably go a bit loonie, cackling and laughing the whole day long. I'd even bring the ingredients and cook up a large kettle of chili !!! Great video and thanks for the adventure !!!!!
Looks like great fun. Makes me wish I was there. That "daisy cam" shake early on was great. Looked like she was in a major earthquake as the whole world shook around her not the way it was! Too much fun!!! Enjoy and have a great one.
Good video dog.. 😂 Daisy is a wonderful swimming camera dog! Seriously side.. the Silver finds are outstanding! What a cool place to spend a day or two prospecting. Thanks man ✌️PT
"That's what she said"......My favorite saying....! Thank you..! Some awesome finds in those nice rocks, Silver coming up in price down here, they're pushing it more than Gold.....! =) Daisy is so humble and loves going out rock hounding and getting in the water.....! Must be turning cold up there, eh..? =)
That's some pretty slick editing there meMiner, daisy cam was pretty cool too. I would love to go hunting for silver, there's lots of abandoned mines and mine dumps in my area to explore. Great finds by the way and happy hunting!
WOW!!! You found my state! MICHIGAN!! And you were smitten with the Mitten, just like we are!! That piece was so so cool!! Love the Daisy cam....she’s such a good dog!! (Sorry, just watched this episode, trying to catch up! Lol) Thanks for all your hard work and time that you put into all your videos!!
Hiya Greg, awesome video! That's a awesome video because we were seeing it through Daisy's eyes, so too speak. Awesome finds, I know you didn't find a wheelbarrow load but you had lots of fun with friends, sometimes that's what counts. Daisy was having lots of fun also, stay safe my friend. I hope you have a awesome great blessed day. Cya!
I heard the music you were playing there at the end. Subtle nod to other rockhounders there (and good music). Gorgeous silver! Liked the Daisy cam and how you found the bismuth end of that one rock. 🤣
Yes she is. Today on her walk she flushed a dozen turkey and later did it again as they tried to get back together. She had a wonderful time and it was great to see the birds. I should have had the camera on her. ;-)
Greig, Greig, Greig. What ever will I do with you, you can't just turn up when miners are working away and start detecting, Daisy was on the ball, getting clever and blending in with the bushes, I think she was sussed though, bushes don't walk. Excellent finds, excellent footage. Stay safe my friend.
Man.. I dont know what you do with them, process, or sell as cuts, but I know a lot of people would like them for book ends or desktop or finished out polish collections. Very cool.
you have one of the GREATEST "ROCK HOUND " partners there ever!! she`s the best of the best!! you ROCK meminer! great video, beautiful rocks, great friends to share an adventure with what more could a man ask for?
Daisy was still whooped from the day before exercise. She was less bouncy for sure. Also, I took off her collar, so there wasn't a big ridge of fur between her vest and collar. Thanks so much for the feedback. It helps me with my videos.
I had to look at my thumbnail to see what video you were responding. I was half expecting it was one of my early ones where my daughter Amy was shooting skeets. LOL. Metal detecting targets sometimes scream too.
Im 31 & literally just grew an interest for rock/gems because of your videos and im already very passionate about it! But sadly my area (Houston,Tx) doesn't seem to have any areas for gem/rock hunting, makes me want to travel closer your direction. Any states you would recommend for a beginner? P.S. my gf and I love Daisy!
Hi MeMiner!! 👋👩🦳️👋 WOW, 30 minutes and a Daisy cam!! It doesn't get any better! Thank you, thank you, thank you. Wish I would of been there. Oh, was your auto focus on? Most of the close-up shots were out of focus....Oops God bless, have a great time until next time and thanks for sharing!
About the focus, yes it was on. Next time, I will try a solid background so it can focus on what I want it to rather than what might be further behind.
Hey MeMiner, Love your vids but it seems you’ve gone silver wild... What happened to Apatite, Amazonite and Biotite...How’s about a nice roadcuts.... I miss that.. Seems you and Daisy have fallen in love with your little metal detector...lol
Dog cam! Nice. I live in a silver rich area here in N Idaho, and while I do a bit of gold panning and rockhounding, I never thought to look for silver in the limitless waste piles. I don't have a metal detector. What would you say is the minimum machine required to do what you are showing in this video?
I have a buddy that started with just a pinpointer. That told him there was metal in rocks he eyeballed. Otherwise, any name brand VLF will work, some better in places than others. I don't like the off brand really cheap detectors and would recommend used for the same price instead.
With the risk of sounding uneducated lol is that rock magnetic ? I found somevery interesting rocks that are magnetic with silver looking balls all over top sides bottom. One has a golden glob also Very heavy I found them on an old walk way from the late 1800s just can’t figure it out for a bit I thought maybe iron ore but does it typically contain metal balls Wish I could share a picture. Thanks for any help hope I’m not a bother
Hey me miner, me and my dad are going up to cobalt this weekend and we got an equinox 800 to look for some silver. Do you have any tips on this detector? Thanks a lot
At most of the mines, I use prospector mode 1. I dig all repeatable signals which are higher than 1. 1 tends to be cobalt. Good luck up there. I am going up too .. either this weekend or next.
I like the nickel when cut. I don't go looking for it, but will keep any that are dug up. I know some spots that are loaded with so much nickel that it is almost impossible to detect the silver in the same area.
Great video and the Daisy Cam was outstanding!😊👍🏼 Soon to be open: “meMiner School of Hunting Silver”.....😃 You, with you experience and eye for the detail can teach a thing or two to the folks that have never done something like this before, but are passionate about the thrill! Good luck and happy hunting on your next adventure....🙏🏼♥️🍀 #StaySafe👞👞😷

I love watching the Cut and Reveals at the end. Soooo Satisfying
I should do a video of "what's inside?" and just cut rocks. I would have fun with that too.
Love me some Daisy-cam! 😍. Great outing and some pretty finds. Keep 'em coming!
Thank you! Will do!
Its always a good day for a MeMiner moment.
Such a nice comment. ;-)

I certainly agree, it was an EPIC day of silver lined adventure! Give Daisy a pat & a pet from Eric in Oregon!
Nice. Thanks
Great adventures! If only the oldtimers had the metal detecting technology of today. Good thing as there wouldn’t be anything left to find!
I bet folks in the future say the same thing about us. ;-)
Great to see you and Daisy on another adventure. You found some beautiful pieces. Thanks for sharing, good luck, happy hunting and take care.
Thanks my friend
I love the dog cam. You should always do this. Thanks for the adventure. I’ll always look forward to see where you will take us next. God Bless You!

Daisy looks for soft spots for a lay down and usually gets out of the sun. Smart dog.

So her being start must be natural, she couldn't have learned that from dad!
Keep smiling buddy.
My eyes are bad. Thanks Daisy, now I don't have to lean in to see...
Love your vids and information, sir! The Dog cam is super nice! Maybe can teach her to sniff out what your looking for!? Lol
She will always be more interested in birds. :-)

Looks like there is still a lot of sliver underground.
It is getting more difficult to find it, but there is still silver to collect.
Also, do you ever sell some of the specimens you find? If so where could we go to find them?
As part of our rock collector privileges we are not allowed to sell what we find, only trade!!!

Hey there buddy quick question do you come across a lot of obsidian when you're out and about
Cuz I found quite a few big pieces that I think might be obsidian but they're not all black some are and some look green and some others look purple
I have never found obsidian. I bought some to tumble (soon)
Cool are you going to make a video of that
@@jeremycanterohioprospecting I plan on it. Just need to find the time to get started. I have 2 other tumbles running right now
You can lead a dog to water, but you can't keep her out.
Soooo true. Especially, at night just before we retire to the camper
@@meMiner You gotta love the 'wet dog smell' in a confined space.

Hey Greig, what is that yellow digging tool you use called? And where did you buy it?
Mudding pick. I bought it (picked it up) from the manufacturer (Time in Haileybury Ontario.
What would be the approx weight in silver once extracted from the 15lbs of rock?
Depends on the quality of the ore. Some in the area was 4000 oz to the ton. Much is very less than that
The price of nickel is $6.50 USA a pound might be worth packing out.
I like the nickel when cut. I don't go looking for it, but will keep any that are dug up. I know some spots that are loaded with so much nickel that it is almost impossible to detect the silver in the same area.
