OMG! That is the exact thing that I watched that started me on my weaving journey too! I was enthralled. I used to be a painter...but I started my weaving journey and never looked back. It's the one 'craft" that satisfies all my artful meanderings, I love it! Oh and this 7 year old video series is exactly what I needed today as I have just brought my first floor loom home. I am so excited! Oh the things I will weave! This is the only reason for youtube to exist these days...IMO.
Today I was bless with a beautiful Baby Wolf floor loom from a friend if my knit group. She's moving and couldn't keep it. I know nothing about weave but I've been curious. Thank you for these videos I can't wait to learn.
Hello Dolores, thank you for the videos. They are very helpful. I just bought a used harrisville 4shaft/ 4 threadle on craigslist. Am a bit intimidated, but willing to learn this craft.
Congratulations on your loom. Don't be intimidated , break each step down, they are easy one by one. Take your time. Expect that you will make some mistakes, that is called learning. You'll be surprised how quickly you learn.
The Erica looks like a great loom I also really like the wolf floor looms, nice and compact, but have all the things you need. Good luck with your loom acquisitions. It is always so exciting to get new equipment.
Hi can you please make a video about introducing all parts of the weaving machine loom because I’m new and I want to get introduced on the walkthrough and as well how to operate/function the machine thanks 🐑🤗
Hi Dolores, I watched all your fantastic videos. Can you tell me your recommended floor weaving learners books. I know you mentioned one in the videos, but I cannot remember which video that was. Thanks.
Hi, My favorite books are: (With the link to Amazon) Learn to Weave by Deborah Chandler. amzn.to/2y8Ngja Weaving for Beginners by Peggy Osterkamp. amzn.to/2y8NpDe. This one has gotten very expensive but if you can find one it is good. I still read both of these books frequently to solve problems or try new things.
