Duck hunting | Teal in the timber | Overlap outdoors

We hunted a timber slough opening morning after the split, and to our surprise we ended up with a ton of teal onto of the usual timber dwelling ducks. I hope you enjoyed the waterfowl video, give some feedback its always appreciated.

if ur bringing a shotgun why would you need a pistol on your side? never in my days have a seen anyone in the timber duck hunting with a sidearm.. is it a cool factor or for trouble? cant wrap my mind around it. wouldnt bring my dog if it whinned all hunt. almost stopped watching cause of it.
