Rare indeed! If only it were 68 right now! We need that kind of freedom and inspiration these days. At least we have the reminders with these gems!

One could drive 250 miles and
still hear a significant sloshing in the tank of me '67 model.
I thought the roman helmet fenders kinda goofy but
it was the most cc could be bought with me summer money.
I remember one mystic eclipse night
    when the moon turned red
while drinking beer and doing hoots
    lying in Wasaga dunes
down the moonlit beach there came
the throbbing roar of a black 450.
    When the jolly fella responded,
'Sure you can take it for a spin'
    I was thoroughly delighted.
    Afterwards,
calmly biking home through the moonlight
past the fields of tall corn and sunflowers
    on me wee 175,
    I became resolved to get
something bigger as soon as possible.
Eventually did but now really wish
I could send me 1400 cc back in time,
oh, and me along with it.

What a little gem. Electric start, ohc twin in 1968! Check out the contemporary Brit equivalents, nice bikes but this baby is way superior.
