Could you maybe just explain to me what good deed the kid did in the end? Did he let the shorter kid win on purpose? Why did he smile to the driver he met in the begining?...
there is a famous story - essentially the boy who hit the ball has Downs Syndrome - the other team was winning , yet they let him ' hit ' and also purposefully allowed him to score a home run and therefore enabling his team to win - so the nod to the driver was that he understood the message and got the point of what is important
