*Harris Bipod, Atlas ones are robust but pretty slow to deploy. TBAC ones are who people that are in the know. Good video man, you guys should publish in writing/PDF all you standards
Nice dude! I have to say I hated the Axon button system, only because I found it was super easy to hit the white light and pass over that threshold from momentary to constant on. Or in other words, I would just want to have it on for a second and come off of it, but if you apply too much pressure it would actually click on, and that’s a whole another set of problems. Solved it by running two mod buttons (because they don’t have a constant on capability), 1 flat on the rail for white light and the one right in front of it at a 45 degree with the HRF Ramp for my laser. Absolutely love that setup. Never going back to anything else haha. Sick rifle bro!
HA! Yeah okay…$400 for a mount is north worth it, 200 maybe but they’re straight taking advantage of the morons new to chuting and just think it’s cool. I’ll go Unity over GBRS all day everyday as soon long as GBRS keeps those stupidly high prices
Absolutely gotta get free time to come train with you guys. My son and I train as much as possible . In my opinion you Devin have a certain charisma that is imperative to teaching people the ins and outs of day to day training. I believe your channel is on the way up and it's because of awesome common sense and integrity you show in every video. Me and my son do what we call brothers keeper back to back training and we keep 360 degree look out while we're in motion through out our walk heading to targets, communication is absolutely a good key to train with because without it you are fighting blind. You gotta trust your brother in a shtf scenario or your both toast. One cohesive unit nomatter how many people are in your group. You guy's have a awesome ass unit brother... Love the content
I have the eotech EXPS3-4. Great out to distance with the BDC and the best for night vision by far. Have the same g45 magnifier. Went away from my LPVOs.
Bipod is a fantastic idea. Only have a reddot for now because things are tight but getting in the gym and hitting the range more consistently is where I’ve gotta step up.
great set up. I just started to learn about unity mounts and have a sig Romeo and Juliet combo paired with the unity 2.25 mounts on my 10.5 suppressed and love that set up so far. and on my 13.5 solgw I have an an eotech with the unity raiser and so far its been great still waiting on my sandman to come in. really enjoying your content man keep it up.
Do you all do training or mentorship for people in wheelchair. I love the outdoors , hunting, and sport shooting. I carry my firearm daily and have my rifle at the ready. My outdoor wheel chair I use in the yard or woods is my trac chair. I can get around pretty good. It even can stand me up and drive on level ground safely. Let me know if you think you can accommodate me.
Normally no bipod for a 13.5, but I don't live out there in big sky country. It's all dense woods and steep hills here in WV. That terrain is very open, so, it's a good idea
True. I'm in Oklahoma and it's open as hell out here, I'd rather have my bipod than my pants, lol. Never seen many people running em but man it's a big help
You gotta try Slade's Irregular Defense OMM. He's part of the brains of the Hydra mounts and maybe you could check it out. Looks like a carry handle as well.

You basically answered every question but one .... What kind of dental plan do you have ? (Toothpaste, toothbrush, doctor, floss or no floss, how many times per day do you brush your teeth ? Once , twice ? Or perhaps once per meal ?) Come on , answer the real questions .
Go to a climbing shop or online and get some 3mmspectra cord. Make ur lasso out of That and i guarantee u will never break it again. Cut it to length with a hot knife though,if u dont that shit is hard as hell to cut with anything else. Plus it makes it look better without frayed burned up ends. I use to use em as prussiks and anchor attacments for my msr snow stake anchors. Nice blaster too, other than the dbal. Lol.
Good video and to emphasize what you said in the video, “none of it matters” if you don’t train and practice. I don’t have just one “Go To Rifle”. The gun I would use in Ohio and going East is a 10.3” 300 Blk. If I were where you are or even if I came to train with you (based on what I am seeing in the videos) is my 6mm ARC, especially considering that you seem to be routinely shooting past 100yds. I do have a question. Why no backup irons? Do you have an etched reticle in your EOTech?
Would you recommend this set up for the tactical games (bipod excluded as I do not believe they are allowed) but the high mount and 5x magnifier? I have poor vision even with wearing contacts and I find when tired and zoomed in on an LVPO I have trouble finding clarity In my optic at distance. It gets worse when lying prone as I find the lvpo is too low for my eyes to have a good line of sight. Thoughts?
Ive seen some really good videos about the best zero for tall mount. I know the 36yd zero is best for the 1/3 hight or direct mount Eotech, makes just about a 10 in spread from 50-300 yards. To get that same spread for a unity which I think is a 2.26 centerline, it's a 66yd zero. For a 2.91 like the Lerna or Hydra, I'm guessing a 100yd, maybe less would produce the best group out to 300yd. You could use a ballistic calculator to choose the most efficient.
laughing my ass off . You could give this ranger a 500 dollar rifle with iron sights and he would kill you just as dead as with a 5 thousand dollar setup lol.
In six months, tops, EVERYONE is going to look back at this absurd height over bore stuff and laugh their asses off. Instagram and it's consequences have been a disaster for firearms. 🤣
Ok so here is the question to end all of this talk about being tactical. If you are over 30 years old how many times have we had a war inside the U.S. ? None, correct. How many times have you engaged a target at 200 or 500yards? Never, correct. How many times have you used a rifle or even a handgun as a civilian to defend yourself? Again, never. So what happens if you defend yourself at 200 or 500 yards? Correct, you go to prison. All of these types of videos do not pertain to civilians, but because most civilians have a mental problem, like buying everything tactical because a guy in a cowboy hat says it’s cool you go buy it. You waste so much that could be better invested in family. It’s ok, fine get a rifle and a handgun but if you buy nigh vision you are a complete idiot or any of this other shit. Hey.
My magnifier is way closer to my dot. Am I doing it wrong? I’ve never seen a gap that big before.
Nope not necessarily brother! I have it this spaced out for night vision use with the eotech
Weres Koda's ear pro ? 🦻
Question. When running a magnifier, you don’t run iron sights? I just got a magnifier and I’m torn if I should take them off or not due to eye relief
Yeah I don't have much space for irons unless I run offset on the rail, which I have considered.
@@tacticalcowboy01 by offset do you mean canted?

What the height on that unity riser? Does this affect which zero you like running?
2.91 brother! I've got a 100 yd zero. it is fantastic. What do you run?
Thanks Devin, I’m running a T2 on a scalar works 1.93. I’m currently use 50/200 zero on my 13.5 cobalt kinetic.

Negative! Also, I don’t sit in the prone for hours at a time with this rifle so it’s not my biggest concern!
