We have the different choices of ground looks in the Island hideout, why not here? Honestly YoshiP! Just make it a slot of the 'Remodel Exterior' UI, done and done. Adding another 'Optional Fixture' shouldn't be that hard.
In case of the classroom: In my schools back in the day (germany) we had exactly those chairs most of the time. There where also classrooms with newer equipment, those chairs and desk still look pretty much the same just with brighter wood color and the metal was colored greenish/blueish). But we never had single-desk for only one person. We had desk which were wider and for two to three students (depending on age). Btw. it was never real wood just something to look like it and very very shiny but gum under the desk was the most normal thing. That is why students had cleaning shifts, like after class we had to put chairs and desks upside down and clean them.
I'll chime in here for the American comparison. We had single desks, but they were bolted to a chair with a bar on one side to form a single frame so they were rarely cleaned and pretty much impossible to stack. There were two models when I went. An older one(which could have been made from anywhere from the 80's to the 2000's)that had a similar plastic chair and still used a real wood desk. The newer ones used the same plastic variant for the desk and chair, and had a divot in the surface to hold pencils or markers. None of the desks had undertrays, instead there was a wireframe metal basket attached under the chair to hold books and nothing else. All this was post 9/11 so I suspect A lot of the design choices were "security" related (you can't hide a weapon as easily with such a design, chairs can't be thrown, etc).
I wish I could think of how to use any of this. On one hand I'd like to use the new modern interior, but I'd also like it to be dark so I'd have to figure out a neat way to cover all the bits that stay white. Now if only we could dye interior bits not covered by wallpaper.
this was a great video, am also totally smitten by that flooring! In the States where I was growing up, we had desks and chairs very similar to what they've put in the game now. Really cool stuff!
I had both the desk and chair when I went to school until they made the desk and chair a single piece for later years due to the number of students in the classroom. I also had the desk that the top lifted instead of having a shelf under the desk. As for the plastic chairs you were talking about, my kids had the combination deskchair that used the chair you talked about.
A cool touch they could add:wear and tear... have 2 degrees of wear for certain house items that could work like dyes, sorta. Say you have a table: 1st,as it is. 2nd degree would be a bit of paint chipped off it, 3rd degree,it would have paint chipped, but also some damage to it. Like scratches and burn marks or somethin... just a thought for a certain kind of estate i know...
pretty sure the school items are related to the eorzea academy manga, along with the mogstation school uniforms now everyone can do their lala madeline cosplays and go to school
I've not messed with outdoor housing much, only on my island sanctuary. Seems wild that you would need to buy multiple stepping stones to make a path! I like the island glamours!
Like the glamour dresser plate, they should give us a furnishing that is a 3-D cube about as big as 1/3 the size of a yard, that we can place 10 things in, but only takes up 1 slot.
Showing all the patch content in a single video doesn't sound like one would do that when the patch is fresh. Showcasing all patch content in a single video seems like it might leave a tidier archive footprint. All droprates not having been made equal, accomplishing this may be uncomfortable and/or massively time consuming. My flimsy reasoning leads to believe it best to have what you're giving. Thanks for spawn and share
The ability to change the ground texture would be great.
Grass (default)
Snow
Sand
Mud
Ice
Marble
Cobblestone
Perhaps a few other options too
And overgrown!

"We also have ourselves under the Pillars & Decorations sections, Uh nothing..." This made me chuckle XD.
The stepping stones look really good when you arrange 2 or 3 of them next to each other. They slot together in a very satisfying way!

I America we have the same type of desk and chairs, i love it

If only I had more slots to use any of it :’(
ye they gotta add like a lot more slots, or, just let players run wild with things instead of makeshift glitch

Sooooo basically turn your estate into Xavier’s school for gifted lalas
Thanks for the showcase! I think this'll definitely replace the lil dinky blackboard we already had in game.
love the instant default to "now the kids can make...drugs" lmfaooo \O/

That flooring is a total game changer!

Dude. When I seen the "Investigation Map", I was like nuh-uhhh they totally implemented the conspiracy theorist meme from It's Always Sunny. 🤣😂🤣😂
that's exactly what it is lmao
Finally a simple and flat ceiling light that isn't the Gold Saucer one.
Great video! i can’t wait to make a secret detective corner in my house with all the new bits 💜
Hey! Teacher! Leave those kids alone! LOL why do I have the feeling that a lot of these desk and chairs are going into someone's dungeon?😅
Hopefully they do a castle aesthetic next.
Not into modern style.
I wish you cold gave the Lakeland grass, blue grass or Il'meg's grass that would dissapear when you make some kind astone path or something
Orange is the new Jet Black Meoni. ;3
First rule no talking,
does that mean
No talking in my classroom
A pity they didn't put a hidden treasure where the X is.
I know this community. I know whats happening on those desks.
what are the boots your character is wearing?:o
Loved this video i can see you have put a lot of effort into it. I would love to get your opion on my fc house and maybe some help if you wanted to.

I wonder how many people will buy these and resell them on market board for a decided markup haha
It's too bad that the stepping stones aren't dyable
well guess it is time for someone to make a school in housing areas. :p
I need to know whats at the top of the staircase, It looks like an eternal item.
Pretty sure that’s made with mats from Sphene EX trial
