You can help me. ERROR: Requested steps were not found in the output database C:/temp/heat-transfer1.odb. Cannot read Nodal temperature data.

Hi, Thanks for the helpful video. I am trying to model the sequential thermal and stress behavior of reinforced concrete exposed to fire using Abaqus. I tried to follow the path shown in the video, but unfortunately no "pair contact" was found to define the conduction between steel bars and the concrete. Just wanted to ask if you could help me with it. Thanks in advance.

Hi dear Helwani, first thanks for your illustrative example. I have a question. Is the gravity load in static step 1 as constant during the fire case in Step 2? Best regards.

I have the same issue. Did you find a solution?

Start the predefined field-2 with step 1. Worked for me. It is because there is 9000 steps in Step-2, however, if you read the temperature data from odb you only have 8999 temperature data to work with.

How will you choose time step?

    • @modelingtactics

if analysis is static.. time step has no meaning. just choose it so that it is compatible with amplitude time history (if any exists)
