I sincerely agree. The Tucson's interior "gadget" upgrades give it the notch up w/ a HUD display and especially the Intelligent Front Light System (IFS), plus, Hyundai's running a 1.9% 36mo financing option right now that's 4 points lower than Kia. So, it's btwn Tucson's bland exterior, yet innovative gadget improvements over the Sportage's stylishly tried & true showing some age? For me, it's a wash, but the financing part sets them apart at present. But in a perfect world, I'd get both to bring home to show off to one's parents, along w/ Gabi as your real prize.
You guys have made some great videos. I have watched the 2025 Sportage and the Tucson videos you guys made and it really helped me get educated with the cars. When I did the test drives there was nothing for the dealer to show me, lol. I kinda think the Sportage ex and the Tucson Preferred trend is a better comparison. Now that Hyundai stepped up their interior design its kind of a draw between the two. For me the Tucson edged out the Sportage because it has wireless android auto and it has a power lift gate.
Ugh the windshield thing/replacement bothers me as living here in Alberta we tend to need to replace windshields alot more frequently than the average Canadian due to the use of gravel on the roads in winter, will the heated windshield still work cracked?? Also due to the need to replace more often full glass insurance will double or even triple one's yearly insurance rate. Come to Alberta and count the windshields that aren't cracked, you won't find many!! 😂
@@BrantfordKia lol Gabi..must have been the camera or my crying eyes. You'd look gorgeous standing in the rain! You both are very pretty and also pretty great at what you do!
Definitely not interested in buying a Kia from him. Her? Wellllllllll. I'd think about it and then go buy a new Ford Ranger, but I'm too tall for one. So it's a Telluride that I would buy, if I can fold myself into it. It looks brawnier than it's Palisade twin under the skin.
The Hyundai tucson is really ugly in comparison to the KIA sportage. The Tucson wheels seems like it's designed by some bloke who had been drinking too much and end up designing something that has been from his childhood fantasy. Can you say again what you understand of the advantage of having both MPI and DI fuel delivery systems in the engine? Not sure you got that right from your description.
Design is certainly subjective, I personally think both cars look very good! As for your MPI and GDI question, utilizing both delivery systems, allows us to reap the benefits of “the best of both worlds. The GDI boosts efficiency and power by injecting fuel directly into the combustion chamber, while multi-port injection helps with cold starts and provides a smoother air-fuel mix & together you get the efficiency advantages of GDI without the carbon buildup! :) - G
I'm very torn between these two vehicles since I love interior of the Hyundai but prefer the Sportage exterior.
This may be your sign to get both

not sure how the towing capacity can be so different on two vehicles that are essentially the same.
Hair looks fine! Wheel controversy aside, I thought both cars looked really cool. I just need more buying power.
Is the diesel engine variant available? And also it is pronounced sport-age and not sport-aj. Unless it is a Canadian thing
Im waiting for the 2025 Tucson hybrid.
Why kia have not pedal shift under the steering wheel?
Am I correct you are in Canada? The EX in the USA does not get fog lamps.
Yes, we are located in Brantford, Ontario!
I’ve seen 40/20/40 seats on a Tucson; which trim are those?
Loving these cars. I was not too fond of the Tuson but I do like this one. I don’t like the wheels tho.
Where is the K5?
Does either of these cars use the dual wet clutch?
Both vehicles are just regular 8-speed automatic.
Do either have cooling seats?
Need to go Sportage's Top trim for ventilated seats, but, just the mid-level SEL for the Tucson.
Is the engine both gdi and mpi?
yes
Isn't it pronounced Spor-TIJ, not Spor-TAHJ? Maybe it's a Canadian thing, haha.
Yeah, it’s a Canadian thing!
Yup, it’s a Canadian thing.
Gabi's really working the wet hair look! As usual..great review.
Thanks! But but but my hair is dry!?

@@BrantfordKia Yeah, I thought you missed the last point , which is the MPI part of it helps to keep the intake valves clean.
I must’ve, a lot of talking points to remember for a live stream. I’ll try to go more in depth on it next time!
The 2025 Tucson preferred trend has nicer looking rims than the xrt
It’s pronounced sport age!
Not in Canada!
In the UK we pronounce it like the Canadians.
Not if yer Canadian Eh!
