Thank you so much for commenting and letting us know that. Cissy’s wiring technique is revolutionary, uses less wire, is very secure and creates a beautiful shaped wreath too x
Happy to have watched the entire process, from being so thoughtful while clipping & gathering the plants, to creating the wreath! Thank you for such a lovely tutorial!!
Absolutely stunning! Utter joy! Now - that right there is the way I want to make my Christmas wreath this year. Pure organic creativity working with the materials I find. Thank you! That was totally inspiring. Bless you x
Thank you so much 🙏🏽 this was so helpful! The single piece of wire revolutionized the whole art form for me 🤍 genuinely thankful - it turned out beautiful… I’m swooning over the lichen branches 🌱🌿
We adore the lichen and knobbly branches too! Thank you for taking the time to comment. We really appreciate it. It really is a simple way to make a wreath but so effective in getting a naturalist shape.
What a fabulous wreath. I too love to make mine at the holidays out of things all around my yard. I have amazing red berry bushes and plenty of magnolia. But I think any kind of foraged material works. I then hang on my mailbox. It lasts a long time. Thanks for sharing tips and your wreath is just lovely.
It looks beautiful, I was itching to pluck that one hanging leaf off though :). I made the wreath frame for mine with a dried very long climbing rose stem which I dried out around a garden pot, it worked really well. This video inspires me to get even more creative.
I’d never thought of using a rose stem. That’s clever as you’d be pruning them now anyway and they will lock together with the thorns! Thank you for sharing.
Thank you Laurette for your support - I hope our tutorial gave you the inspiration to make your own Christmas decoration using what’s available out there - forage responsibly!
Yes you can! You can buy them from our website, delivered locally but we hope more wreaths will look like this and you can buy them from your own local growers.
I love the integrative approach to adding the foliage. However, not having an artistic bone in my body I am a bit worried mine will just look like a dogs dinner! I am off to see the alternative starting with a green structure and adding just to see the difference. Was a really good start for me, thank you for taking the time to make the video.
Do try this way! We find that wreaths do always look really naturalistic and balanced using this technique as you can add and see as you go how well the shape is forming. In fact it suits the less confident as you don’t know how it will go until you have finished!
I went foraging last night, and was approached and verbally abused by a man with his dog walking past, hes in his 30s telling me to not cut anything, it's belongs to everyone and it kills the plants, as he knows he a horticultural person, he was very agressive towards me and intimidating with me, he wouldnt walk in, he stood there staring at me just feet away, i left without anything at that behaviour, it was in a public foodt path area growing...he literally scared me his behaviour was very off towards me, be careful out there, my husband said I should rang police there and then.
Hello, moss mustn’t be taken from the natural environment unless it’s on your own land so we order wholesale from suppliers usually in Scotland or Ireland. You can get small amounts from your local florist. Or we can send you a foraging kit if you are in the UK!
Hi Linda, we do not recommend collecting moss from the wild as it is a protected plant. However if you rake it from your lawn, you can keep it in bags for a very long time. We always save our moss from the previous year. It might need a soalking but perfectly fine to use as a base for your wreath x
We store it the way it is in bags quite packed - it dries over time but that’s not an issue as we always dunk it in water before using - watch our latest video, there is a bit with the moss.
Hi Linda, sorry to hear about the inconvenience with the sound in our video. At this time I do not have a solution for you. However we are looking at adding subtitles to this video so the sound can be muted. Thank you for the feedbacks, they are much appreciated ♥️
Hi Linda, you can now en-able subtitles for this video - I appreciate this isn't ideal, we are planning a refreshed wreath video with improved sound. Thank you once more for the feedbacks
Thank you so much for your feedback, the audio recording has been really tricky for us, we are looking at ways to get better, thanks again for taking time to comment.

At 430 what is the plants name
It’s Ivy, but such a rambling plant in a shady area that it grows a little differently. Not long tendrils but clumps which is nice to use in wreaths.
How do I shut off the overpowering music?
Hi Linda, sorry to hear about the inconvenience with the sound in our video. At this time I do not have a solution for you. However we are looking at adding subtitles to this video so the sound can be muted. Thank you for the feedbacks, they are much appreciated ♥️
@@flowergrade thanks. I was really enjoying the video then the music kicked in and I couldn’t hear your explanations. Hope you can resolve.
