Hi Zak great bit of work there 👍🏻pity about the change but sure it’s your car. I have an aaz in my cabby which might get the asz engine I bought . Petrol engines I would go with a g60 if you can get your hands on one. Have one in the tin top I have and it’s a belter , sounds great too . Plus a lot rarer . 1.8T are ten a penny. Just my two cents. Keep the vids coming
You'll be happy to know I bought this engine and the conversion was absolutely spot on best engine conversion I've ever bought. You'll also be happy to know it's now just shy of 300hp with a ARP stud and nut kit 120% injectors and a gt1856 turbo........safe to say it's an absolute animal

If you don't want hate , id serious suggest not recommending the topdon topscan , absolute garbage tool , doesnt support half of the cars they claim they do , doesn't do half the features they claim either , and rhey absolutely refuse to answer emails regarding it massively unstable slow setup that cannot be trusted and neither can the manufacturer

Haven’t seen other videos explaining why your not keeping the TDI was it too difficult of a conversion?
Loved the idea of a TDI, changed my mind now ,I want something that sounds good and looks nice in the bay 😄
