@@TheUsedBookGuy Looking forward to it. Enjoyed hearing about Kent's process. Selfishly, I love these because they help expand my view of possibilities when rounding out my business plan.
Hey Mike! What do I do if amazon closed a shipment without any of my inventory getting scanned. They say they need proof of purchase and I obviously don’t have it.
I went through this situation recently and started by posting a thread on the seller central forum. After my missing item case was closed (like yourself I had no invoices, so I just uploaded receipts), I circled back there to ping a rep that was helping on the forum and they helped escalate the case to a different level of support. Seeking help via the normal customer service channels when we don't have invoices is a dead end, but it seems to be a necessary step to escalation. My shipment went missing in September and began getting checked in in December. I don't know if I actually got any assistance, but ultimately the shipment was found and checked in. I've spoken with others who've had the same problem and sometimes we're SOL but more often than not the inventory seems to show up somewhere down the road. Best of luck as you go through the process
Thank you! I know they lose inventory all the time and if it’s one or two books it’s whatever and like you said it usually shows up eventually. But when it’s a whole shipment there’s just no way. Thanks for the advice!
I'm shocked that he doesn't know that he can sell barcode books on ebay,....i'm doing over 50K in barcode books on ebay this year already,...230k total
@@TheUsedBookGuy Yeah, it was shocking that he could make it work, -definitely food for thought,...I just wish that he would open a 2nd Ebay store to sell the barcode books

Thanks Mike for not taking the time to look up the books without barcodes. I send so many of those in. 😊
No problem!! LMAO time is money honey!!
99c auctions & it works 🤯
Great way to create cashflow and move inventory.
Good Stuff. Great Guest !
Glad you like the episode!! Kent is a fun guy!
My biggest issue is properly tracking inventory, especially repeatative inventory.
Yep pain in the a$$ even with a SKU system its an ongoing battle especially at scale!

Another thing is this inventory was from a cash buy so I don’t really have a receipt unfortunately but we will see what happens
Are book fair people "book fairies"?
Better than the term dealer. Whenever some ask me now I will say I am a Book Fairie!!
