That's all good when you want to just coast on a path or something, but when I'm running from a guardian, and the damn horse refuses to turn because there's nothing in the way, or tries to start following a path, that's a bit upsetting. P.S. I really hate how you can't put the ancient saddle on the giant horse. It has the fastest cruise speed, and it can wallop anything that gets in the way with ease. Oh well, at least Epona has the longest sprint...oh, right. She can't be equipped with it either. That just leaves my third choice, the white horse (who I almost always name "Princess.")

I think the part 5 will be the new glitch discovered by legend of link, where it allows you to get the bow of light out side of the dark beast Ganon, The glitch is File transferring where you can take a entire save file to a account from the shrine of resurrection.
Just thought I'd put this here, for durability transfering bows, I like to overload the menu with one less bow than normal (sometimes it might not overload at all) and use an elemental rod. Dropping the elemental rod overloads the menu, picking it up allows you to go back to normal. Keep in mind that this isnt ONLY for bows, its a good, quick method for all of them.

I didn’t have any trouble before, but it was nice to see it tidily gone over once again. You are a hilarious RUclipsr and your content has proven invaluable for an Adept glitcher such as myself. If you would be willing, you should go over wind bombing and advanced combat mechanics like forced flurry rushes and the one horse glitch where you go flying after jumping off your horse. Also, making some tutorials on what you did on your Age of Calamity video would be appreciated. I’m just confused every time I watch that hilarious video.

23:05 A easier method to transfer durabillity of bows is following: 1st: Equip an elemental weapon 2nd: Overload with multi bows 3rd: Equip the Bow with the durabillity you want to transfer. You need to close and open the menu and try this again, so long that link equips that bow on the overworld. (If this doesnt work try this whole thing again and overload a bit less, but still enough to not see armor) 4th: Unequip and reequip your elemental weapon 5th: Switch to the bow you want to get the durabillity get tranfered on. Link will hold this bow in his hands in the menu, but in the overworld he will still have the old one. 6th: To dupe, simply place it in your hateno house and pick it up. For durabillity transfer: If step 5 worked, just shoot 1 arrow. You are done now. If you want to test if it worked: Method 1 (only works if the item still "sparkles") dupe the exact same bow *before* durabillity tranfer 1 time, then sort your menu. If there are 2 exact same models, it will sort the items by durabillity. If the sparkling duplication is right from your bow, it worked. If its not, it didnt. Method 2 (takes longer and requires a save, but always works and requires no dupe): Save the game and just shoot with it. If its orginal durabillity was 20, it should break after 20 shots. If it doesnt, it worked. So just shoot and count its shots until you can be sure it worked, since every shot consumes 1 durabillity. The best bow for durabillity transfer is the ancient bow, since it has the highest with 120. The twilight bow *can* reach 145 durabillity, but it seems like durabillity transfer doesnt work with light arrow bows this way. The best durabillity tranfer weapon is the briggaron seord with durabillity up++ (111 durabillity), a good alternative is the toy hammer from kilton with 80 durabillity This is the easiest method I found, since elementals are usually in your inventory anyway.
I just had a thought. If you gave the master sword the durability of the spring loaded hammer it would have 79 durability and only lose 0.2 durability every hit. So it would last for around 395 hits. Though using the biggoron sword gives it 110 so it would last for about 550 hits.

For anyone who wants to speed dupe weapons here's how: drop enough multi-shot bows until its overloaded while link holds a bow. Desync your weapon, throw, and repeat.

I actually figured out how to do this on my own, slightly differently, and can offer some corrections. Here’s what i did: 1. My target file has the travel medallion anywhere, doesn’t really matter I think 2. Switch to my completed file, which already completed the final trial. 3. Activate moon jump 4. Go fight Maz Koshia 5. Teleport to medallion. 6. Switch back to target file. Save and reload 7. Show up at Maz Koshia’s room. Save and quit game to stop moon jump 8. Grab a skew from the circle part slope behind Maz Koshia. Shield clip through the door 9. Proceed to complete the trial and beat Maz Koshia normally. Keep in mind after you get the map, you’re unable to leave until you’re fighting Maz Koshia again so prepare beforehand

Could you technically take the chest containing the hylian shield 2 map squares away, open it there to avoid the game recognizing you collected it, and obtain both of the best possible modifiers?
i remember when botw first came out and i got it on the Wii-u, i opened the stalnox chest to get the hylian shield, before the patch to keep the hylian shield from spawning in the chest with stats pre-determined, and behold: 144 damage blocking. I thought getting an upgrade was normal, but boy was i wrong. i miss you, 144 damage blocking hylian shield.. oh how i miss you
note that dry firing a bow (shooting while you have 0 arrows equipped) does NOT affect durability and therefore cant transfer it. this might only come up if for some god-forsaken reason you wanted to give a twilight bow the durability of something else, as you will have light arrows equipped and normal bows cannot fire light arrows
Just had something somewhat strange happen, I was farming arrows with two 120 5 shot durability savage Lynel bows at the entrance to Korok forest, and then I wanted to overload the inventory so I could replaced the bows, but it only took dropping two bows and holding a third. If that is consistent, then it could be useful whenever you want to dupe both equipment and arrows. I had to fine tune by dropping three elemental rods and holding a fourth, but that's more just because I wanted to do durability transfer as well...
27:03 imagine being one of those people and seeing someone throw a Fire Sword onto the ground, pull another one out of hammer space, throw that one on the ground an repeating that.
I think I might have discovered a new glitch (tell me if anyone found it before me)! To activate it, go to any shrine you have already completed. Then walk onto the platform that the monk used to sit on. Next face the direction of the stairs that you are walk up to talk to the monk. Next shield jump and enter bullet time and land on the tiny wall in front of the stairs. The game will kind of softlock (you can still pause, attack, etc but you can’t move outside of the thing you are in). Link will freeze at the end of whatever animation he is in e.g. if you jump attack he will stay with his sword hitting the ground forever. This will result in some pretty funny animations (I’ve even got like to dab once)!

If am correct with the durability transfer it'll lose durability at the same rate as the weapon it got its durability from
afaik that actually works (but once it breaks its durability is set back to 40 after 10 mins)

For anyone who wants to speed dupe weapons here's how: drop enough multi-shot bows until its overloaded while link holds a bow. Desync your weapon, throw, and repeat.

I actually figured out how to do this on my own, slightly differently, and can offer some corrections.
Here’s what i did:
1. My target file has the travel medallion anywhere, doesn’t really matter I think
2. Switch to my completed file, which already completed the final trial.
3. Activate moon jump
4. Go fight Maz Koshia
5. Teleport to medallion.
6. Switch back to target file. Save and reload
7. Show up at Maz Koshia’s room. Save and quit game to stop moon jump
8. Grab a skew from the circle part slope behind Maz Koshia. Shield clip through the door
9. Proceed to complete the trial and beat Maz Koshia normally. Keep in mind after you get the map, you’re unable to leave until you’re fighting Maz Koshia again so prepare beforehand
the visual indicator for overloading is expertly done, its so clear you could be a teacher of some sorts

Could you technically take the chest containing the hylian shield 2 map squares away, open it there to avoid the game recognizing you collected it, and obtain both of the best possible modifiers?
i remember when botw first came out and i got it on the Wii-u, i opened the stalnox chest to get the hylian shield, before the patch to keep the hylian shield from spawning in the chest with stats pre-determined, and behold:
144 damage blocking.
I thought getting an upgrade was normal, but boy was i wrong. i miss you, 144 damage blocking hylian shield.. oh how i miss you
note that dry firing a bow (shooting while you have 0 arrows equipped) does NOT affect durability and therefore cant transfer it.
this might only come up if for some god-forsaken reason you wanted to give a twilight bow the durability of something else, as you will have light arrows equipped and normal bows cannot fire light arrows

Just had something somewhat strange happen, I was farming arrows with two 120 5 shot durability savage Lynel bows at the entrance to Korok forest, and then I wanted to overload the inventory so I could replaced the bows, but it only took dropping two bows and holding a third. If that is consistent, then it could be useful whenever you want to dupe both equipment and arrows.
I had to fine tune by dropping three elemental rods and holding a fourth, but that's more just because I wanted to do durability transfer as well...

I think I might have discovered a new glitch (tell me if anyone found it before me)! To activate it, go to any shrine you have already completed. Then walk onto the platform that the monk used to sit on. Next face the direction of the stairs that you are walk up to talk to the monk. Next shield jump and enter bullet time and land on the tiny wall in front of the stairs. The game will kind of softlock (you can still pause, attack, etc but you can’t move outside of the thing you are in). Link will freeze at the end of whatever animation he is in e.g. if you jump attack he will stay with his sword hitting the ground forever. This will result in some pretty funny animations (I’ve even got like to dab once)!
Thank you for breathing life back into BOTW these keep me busy for months!
