Young man you gave the best video on this watch you explained that you showed features the functions nobody else is doing that all they're talking about is how nice it looks they haven't showed anything you're the only one that actually went through all the modes I want to wish you a Merry Christmas and thank you for sharing this video I know it's old I don't know if you still receive it the text but just let you know you did a great job thank you so much 👍
Casio has updated this model model, it's PRW-3510. There is also a PRW 3510FC-1 it has sapphire glass with non-"reflective coating, instead of mineral glass. It also has an improved display, STN LCD that improves power consumption and viewing. Another feature is a composite band with urethane components with metal inserts. The watch can operate for 7 months with normal use, without exposure to light after fully charged.
@@Danilo-jx8du its more tight than loose. I like the bezel this way so it doesn't rotate while walking or shaking your hand. I'm not positive the glass is saphire. I couldn't find that specific spec in the manual.
Oh Benzel, the Sunrise and Sunset function doesn't update daily, the watch gets that info from the Longitude and Latitude you input into the watch on setup. The Towers(My Case Ft. Collins) that send the radio Signals are not Satellites. It is a good watch, maybe not as good as the PRW-2500 but okay. If Casio ever made a 2500 with V3 Sensors I couldn't throw my money at them fast enough.
My maid dropped my Casio Pro-Trek PRW 3500t the titanium version from a second floor apartment I had kept it on my balcony to recharge even after a hard fall only the left sensor cap was damaged never the less I have given it for repair, I wish I bought the black version like yours because it looks really good with a nato strap.
LOL 4:56 is not a speaker where the sound comes out LOL. It's the sensor right there. The sound comes from inside the watch, actualy the speaker is glued inside on the stainles steel back plate. Btw a nice watch to have. Have fun.
The "thingy" on the side is actually the sensor for the watch and you do need to replace the battery after some time as it is written in the manual it should be every 5 years or so (I bought a PRG-260 model). Great video by the way.
Thanks! I will probably be doing an extension video where Ill actually use it and its functions when I am canoeing in the Boundary Waters Wilderness this July!
Mineral glass crystals are not scratch resistant. And it doesn't matter what material "the crystal" (even when they are made of cheap plastic), it's called "the crystal."
TNV i was wondering on the protrek 240 the watch has automatic backlight that when you twist your wrist the light turns on is it the same for the 3500?
Hi, I just got this watch, and when I press the big light button for display light, its coming only from the left side of the display, wonder if its suppose to be like that or it should lights from both left and right side? Wanna return it if is a fail Thanks
How does the compass dial work? Is it just to give you a reminder of which way you are trying to go? I have been searching everywhere on the internet and there is not much explanation.
Benzle? You mean bezel? Also, those ports on the left side are not for the speaker, but for the sensors. Casio always puts their speaker on the backing plate.
Could change depending on whether your house is on an uneven surface therefore changing the sea level and this watch can be off about 5 feet in accuracy, hope that helped.
+TheNorthernVoyager - According to Casio its supposed to be accurate to within 1 meter (3 feet); I chose this one over the PRW-2500 because its only accurate within 20 feet.
The altimeter is a function relative to the barometer. Actually it converts the barometer reading into altitude. So as the weather changes, the air pressure changes a bit, effectively changing the altimeter readings.
TheNorthernVoyager Thank you for replying, I just got the same watch and its great but I find the bezel a little bit too loose but what the heck it's an awesome watch!
TheNorthernVoyager, could you do me a favor? I see the back of your watch says "Taiwan", check the buckle of the watch for me. It should say "Casio" on the buckle and then mention a country under that. What country does yours say on the buckle? I think I may have to send mine in for a repair or replacement because my backlight only lights up the left half of the face and isn't a full backlight like yours is.
Tell me something on this interview by chance did you ride the short bus when you were a kid this whole concept on this watch is so far out in the park I don't think you even understand what you're talking about sorry it's just a fact
To start with, it's n ou t a BENZEL. Secondly the screen is as nothing to do with the solar system (which is below the watch face. DO YOUR HOMEWORK BEORE YOU BLOVIATE ABOUT SOMETHING YOU DON'T KNOW IT'S A "BEZEL"
It's Bezel not Benzel. It also doesn't receive time signals from satellites, it receives them transmission stations around the world.
Also 20bar means 200 meters not feet
the benzel error is not his, its the auto captioning that YT is doing. Stop getting picky.
@@KamleshDesaiactually, if you use your ears, you can clearly hear him saying “benzel”. Give it a try
@@themac2488 picky picky.
@@KamleshDesai I may be picky, but I’m still right. 😘

Bought this now a year ago, its great!
Great Review!!! Your review help me pick this over the G-Shock rangeman!!!
Np and your going to love it!!!
TNV i was wondering on the protrek 240 the watch has automatic backlight that when you twist your wrist the light turns on is it the same for the 3500?
Yes
how does it know the difference between climbing and weather change?
Hows the watch holding on?
Are the letters on the bezel recessed in any way
Can I change the metal band to rubber?
Hi,
I just got this watch, and when I press the big light button for display light, its coming only from the left side of the display, wonder if its suppose to be like that or it should lights from both left and right side? Wanna return it if is a fail

+AmazingSuperman it is supposed to be like that. There should be 2 lights powered via solar power on the left side. Hope that helped
I bought a PRW-3500T (Titanium Band) on eBay auction for $220. It was new in an open box from a physical store that also sells on eBayl.
What a find! Thats a great deal!
Paid $140 CAD for mine. ;)
Is the only difference the titanium band? Or are there new features
How does the compass dial work? Is it just to give you a reminder of which way you are trying to go? I have been searching everywhere on the internet and there is not much explanation.
i think so.
or just press the top left button and let the watch do it for you.
You got instructions

Mineral crystals?
Is it still working?
I recently bout the PRW-3500, so far i love it. except if i set the altitude and have been home all day. It will gradually rise...

My bezel is super loose, does anyone know a way to fix it?
Hi great video but 20bar is 200m i.e 660ft approx
Hello! May I ask if the stainless bezel Rotates easily or loosely or is it tightly??
Danilo Cac its snug yet rotates rather easily and smoothly
TheNorthernVoyager Thank you for replying, I just got the same watch and its great but I find the bezel a little bit too loose but what the heck it's an awesome watch!
Danilo Cac it may be a manufacturing error
Any new colors coming out?
Great reveiw, This baby has itt all, would like to own itt

Benzel Watchington.
No offence but there is a lot dodgy info in this review!

It doesn’t receive signals from benzel satellites under water?

do you think the display on the dark version is to dark in sunlight?
Yes - I have bad eyesight tho so...
is that possible to change the temperature unit to degree celsius?
Edward Tan yes

How long is the battery life an how to charge it
Battery life is very long lasts forever as long as you allow the watch to get recharged via solar light
200 m not 200 ft water resistance
Good video, have you thought about putting a Nato style strap on it?
Thanks and yes I have thought about getting a Nato strap, might pick one up to swap it put with the current band
+TheNorthernVoyager that would make a great video by the way!
great tutorial. i also own a pathfinder. good work
thank you after see your review i Bay one thanks man
Can you set magnetic declination? Is there a calibration mode? I dont like that the bezzle is steel, can't it get magnetized and mess up the compass?
1500t is most stylish, 2500t has most on screen data
i want too see a video of gw 9400 rangeman👍👋
Most G-Shocks are 200m, which is 660 Ft. Not 200 ft. Just helping.
More videos my friend more videos
Nice vid. I still like my 2500 more though. 🤔
The only problem I have with my 2500 is that the 3rd hole is too big and the watch flops around and the 4th hole is too tight. Grrrrrr
It's now only $168 at Amazon...I ordered one, thanks...
Galactusz007 I ordered one in the Black Friday.. 148$ it's great watch:D
Cool! Yeah, great watch indeed. I love it...
It's $177 on Amazon right now, the 2500 is $224.

i was lucky enough to find one brand new at a pawn shop under $100 dolls how u like me know.
