I don't have a few of those, but I pretty much agree with your picks. I could never get rid of any of our games. Even the ones we haven't touched in years. There's not enough time to play them all, but still, you never know what you'll be in the mood to play. Looking at our shelves now, we haven't played Civilization A New Dawn in a fat minute, but I won't get rid of it. You never know...
I will have to get rid of games in the near future, already making a list 😢 Maybe i should try something similar with my wife, but i fear there would be a lot of “BOTH!”s 😅 Fun show, always on the look-out for those sprinkles of german 😊
Fun choices. There is indeed a distinction between which game I would play right now (my copy or someone else's) and which I would prefer to keep in my collection long term. For instance, we recently replayed Catan after a long time. It reminded us why it's a classic and why we enjoy going back to it. So I'd replay Catan right now. But long term, Ticket to Ride (Europe) is such a great gateway game it's the one I would keep. Love how tough the choices were. Shows you have picked the games in your collection well.
Ticket to Ride Europe is one we had our eyes on! We take it it's worth the purchase? Yes, when games are chosen to ensure it's something Kristina will play, there isn't much she would get rid of!
@@BoardgameJunkies Good question. You already own the original Ticket to Ride. I think the stations in Europe are a nice touch and I like the layout of the map. But, that said, it's so very similar to your copy I do not think you need to own both. Either is a great game to enjoy with anyone.
The which game would you sell choice shouldn't have been that hard. Shawn never said anything about not being able to buy it again. Simply pick the cheaper of the two and then buy it back when the mood suited you.

Agreed! We wouldn't either. They are meticulously picked and even though they may sit unplayed for a bit, we wouldn't part with them either!
Just imagining getting rid of games is giving me a panic attack! But it was cool seeing which games you like better.
Haha! Shawn can relate!! There is really nothing that we would get rid of!

Right?! It's hard to choose, they each offer something the other doesn't! I'm with her, keep them all! Lol!
I'll have to throw in some new words ! 😂

Yeah, we figured. We wish we would have purchased the European version originally. Thank you for the advice!
