It's odd to me that the older I get, the more forgiving I am of their later works. I feel like I am listening to this album for the first time and it's GREAT! I feel like such an a-hole for ignoring it for so long!

Just discovered this one, since I've always had a problem with Billy's voice and didn't follow their career after their early heydays. But here it works for me or I've become more tolerant :-D Could even become one of my favourite albums. It's really great!
As a drummer who started playing because of “Gish”, I’m embarrassed to say I’ve never heard this. 😢 I think after the song 1979, I thought all hope was lost. I was very wrong. Jimmy does a great interview with Rick Beato if anyone is interested
Never heard this when it came out and discovered it recently, but I don't get why this album was so disliked. Aghori Mhori Mei is being praised as a return to guitar-rock roots, but this is one guitar-driven banger after another and I like it even better than AMM. Maybe the world was just over rock and the SP sound back in 2007?
