My Mom also had a mild flu during covid but at that time she hadn't taken any vaccine. It started becoming worse and so she figured it actually was covid. She was taken to the doctor and was given about 3 or 5 bags of pills. She started taking the pills, immediately after taking the pills she started becoming worse and couldn't even breathe, she refused to be taken to the hospital because she had a feeling they might deliberately unalive her since she was given medication that made her worse. It was so worse that she even wrote a will cause she felt she wouldn't survive this. By the grace of the almighty she survived through prayer cause she stopped taking the pills. All Im saying is the government was really up to something with this covid thing cause statistically, 90% of the people that were taken to the hospital died, but again 90% of people who actually cured themselves in their houses survived.
But im grateful my angel survived, God remains undefeated.❤

    Mmmh guys
I'm South African and my partner is Nigerian. One time he got sick all night and I only got scared when we hadn't slept all night and he started screaming it out around 4:00 a.m...ill name the hospital closest to us; Steve Biko, Pretoria... we are very touchy feely people and now he was in so much pain that he'd grab me tight, stand up to walk around or sleep on my lap. I called a pharmacist friend around 07:00. We met at the pharmacy 2 hours before the opening time. Gave him a shot that she says it's normally given to people in pain as they wait in the emergency room.
Though I am a South African lady fully, I felt zenpbobicly profiles by association, and my partner was just ignored nje just because . A lot just happened that morning in that emergency room
Medical Aid all the way honey......

My sister was preg with twins and the Doctor realized when she was 2 months that babies are not growing as they should and her Gynea do tests and find that the babies have down syndrome so they had to terminate the pregnancy which was dine by her Gynea

Was diagnosed with cardiomyopathy after giving birth as well. Had a healthy pregnancy and I am very fit. Don’t remember ever contracting Covid and got 2 vaccines. Don’t regret getting it coz it saved my loved ones.
My heart is good now and the clots have dissolved. I had a good team of doctors around me and the fact that I had chronic medical cover I didn’t have to worry about money coz the treatment was not cheap.

I remember chatting with my GP one time and the fact that I did not get the vaccine due to my beliefs…. She literally said “do not get it” she said even her children did not get vaccinated.

What an interesting episode ❤,thank you Melissa for sharing.
Didn’t your initial drs by any chance say you had peripartum cardiomyopathy?its heart dilation+failure that happens around pregnancy time esp third trimester and after delivery.can happen even if you have a normal/low risk pregnancy.it takes a bit longer than 3 days for the heart to dilate and cause symptoms.
Is there by any chance you took the vaccine when you already had the virus but was asymptomatic?because it sounds like you went because of heart failure/clot symptoms and not viral infection ones?viral infections(or any other infections) can cause a heart that is already sick to go into decompensated failure.
So many unvaccinated people died from covid. So many people who had covid are left with long covid syndrome&chronic conditions that are impacting their lives so badly.many people who got vaccinated are now struggling with clots & heart problems afterwards. In terms of health,no one won in that pandemic shem.
Its so important to get a second or third or fourth opinion from a different doctor especially regarding life changing diagnosis.Especially because black women tend to get dismissed when reporting symptoms.
Its okay for a dr to reference(“google”).They usually dont use google but medical referencing sites/journals.That’s a safe doctor who knows their limitations.Fear a dr who pretends to know what they are doing when they actually are clueless-thats where the danger is!No dr knows everything esp if its not something they work with everyday(wouldn’t expect a gynae to know heart failure side effects off by heart if they dont see a lot of heart failure patients)
So glad you survived the clots/heart failure and your little nnana is well❤

I had an almost similar case to her, however with me it was a thyroid problem which elevated my blood pressure, so I'm currently on chronic medication. Yes, with such conditions you do have to alter your diet significantly, takeouts are a no go area, you just have to eat clean all the time, I can only use herbs and natural spices like paprika to season food. It's really tough but ke there's nothing we can do🙁
