I feel so proud on the progress of ALH. I was doing my internship in 2006 in Hal when I first saw ALH in real and LCH only on paper. I was so excited to work and understand. Now seeing work for Mark 4 and LCH flying.. Although at that time time I did doubted LCH capabilities considering its weight category. Also I was seeing it on word documents which was very boring.... 😝

One more good news about this chopper is that it's about to get more lifting power, because htse 1200 kw (or 1607 hp) engine is ready, hal is testing its 1st prototype and it's a next gen chopper engine, i guess the next dhruv might be powered with our own engine

Did we take anyones help for LUH? LCH? No right, it was possible only because of the knowledge and experience of Dhruv, like wise we took a very long time for Tejas, is AMCA, Tejas MK2, TEDBF taking time?it's a learning curve and once you have got it down you can do anything.

french engine very less record of accident .... airframe is arodynaic design and tested...if engine is good 50-60% problem of aircraft accident will come done

ALH mk3 with foldable tail boom along with other required modifications should be bought by IN for 111 NUH order . As govt will easily approve it, its cheap and maintainence and interoperability will be easy , panthers will be expensive and more time taking to buy. And govt may hang that deal for long, so navy should compromise and have these rather than having nothing.
For stop gap measure IN can lease 24-36 panthers for 5 years till production of ALH MK3 nuh catches pace and development completes.
Similarly IA should buy large number of LUH and not wait for TOT and deal for ka226 , if we have decent levels of indegenous option available this govt. Will never budge and import these aircrafts. Limited order or lease of ka226 can also be done till LUH starts full scale production.

the naval version of the HAL Dhruv Mk2 has to be armed with Sea Skua anti-ship missile & Brahmos Mk 2 land attack cruise missile attached to external hard points in addition to a 25 MM GAU-23/E rotary cannon (side door gunner)!!!
