Hello! This is Iseon. I captured my itinerary from last weekend's day trip to Daejeon in a video.
If you're planning a trip to Korea and you love bread, I highly recommend Daejeon's Seongsimdang. (I suggest going on a weekday instead of the weekend! It's always crowded.)
I impulsively left for this trip because I wanted to visit Seongsimdang, and I must say, I had an incredibly satisfying day in Daejeon. Seriously, why doesn't Seongsimdang exist near my house? 🍞
My personal recommendations from Seongsimdang! Seongsimdang sandwich, salt bread, pollack baguette, and strawberry syrup... Especially the sandwich, it's really delicious...
And for Seongsimdang gifts, the fried soboro box + Bomunsan echo set is the way to go. 😄
I also made sure to try out the "Daejeon recommended restaurants" that came up when I searched. Even though I was full, I kept eating because it was so delicious. Next time, I'm definitely going to try Ossi Kalguksu's water gun soup and Taepyeongso's rice soup with raw fish, one dish per person... I feel like I filmed the "what I eat" content properly, don't you think?
After returning from the trip to Daejeon on Sunday, the previous day Saturday, I went to Hongdae and walked all the way from Hongdae to Yeouido station, passing through Hangang Park. Seriously, what's wrong with my stamina? It was a productive day.
If you go to Hangang, you have to eat Hangang ramen or Hangang chicken, you know what I mean!
Now that the weather has warmed up and the cherry blossoms are blooming a lot, are you all enjoying cherry blossom viewing? 🌸🌸
