Mehikaner I've never been like that. However, I have known men who think a woman must be "down for everything" he is. She must like the exact same music as they do, drink the same amount of alcohol and eat the same food he does, and be willing to sit at their friend's house for hours on end talking about, watching or listening to only what they like.
If she prefers to switch up the scenery a bit, she's considered "high maintenance or "bratty."

Also, if I don't appreciate the type of men I described, then it means I'm not that same type of woman either. If you're an exception to this rule then your confidence to it shouldn't mean you have to put down men for it, nor should you interpret what he's saying that way. What I want to understand is why is it such a bad thing for women to be introduced with a problem they usually are at fault to contributing to, but when men are confronted with a problem and a dude says "Not all men" he's either crucified, told that the majority of men are at fault for said issue existing, or called any number of insults by white knights and the insecure women they protect? OP said nothing about gender, but within context of the video he was indeed talking about women. And he'd be right. I am a woman and I love sloths -- but expecting your boyfriend to have a sloth at your birthday party is so diva. Everybody thinks that just because Dax Shepherd did it for Kristin Bell that it's like the ultimate expression of love -- it isn't. Keep in mind both Dax and Kristin are millionaires, first of all, and paying a rescue facility to transport a sloth to your home is very expensive. Secondly, sloths (even those raised in captivity) are wild animals. They have absolutely no desire to interact with people. Having a sloth at your party is solely for your amusement and not for the sloth, who could actually get very stressed out by the trip and all the loud noises at a party. It isn't really respecting that animal to have it come to your home. If you really love sloths, you should volunteer at a rehab/rescue center instead, where you can observe them where they're most comfortable and will behave the most naturally.

Just moved from Panama...loved living where sloths were. I used to see them moving slowly in my backyard, or crossing the streets. There aren't any sloths here in Kuwait, but at least I have my memories of Panama.
