One of the most iconic breakdown and the build up after it in trance for me. 1999 really was something else when it comes to trance. ♥️ Classics never die. 😎
Reminds me of the Gatecrasher Disco-Tech CD. Another amazing record from the same year by these most talented producers was The Hive (Hornet Attack Mix).
thank you for your uploads. i appreciate the vinyl sound, nicely roundy kick and bass, the sound is smooth, mastering was done sensibly with a headroom and spacy feel. no loudness war. all nice and clean. and also... music was done with some feeling by skilled people and not by teens with laptop and cracked cubase...
It has the same wolf sound sample as in "Lunar Outbreak," by Moonstruck which is the first track on Forbidden paradise 8. I wonder where the sample is from. Superb track forsure and one of my favorites!
Is that a pan flute? One of my favorite tunes, Golden Girls - Kinetic, remixed by Jensen & Carter has the same sound! Love it. If you've never heard Kinetic, give it a listen 😉
@@distinguishedgentleman7166 No worries. It appears on quiet a few songs across various genres over the last few decades. I remember first time hearing it many many years ago when internet wasn't a thing and took me forever to find out what it was. Drove me nuts.
Yes mate it totally reminded me of that too. I love that tune so much especially the Frank de Wulfe remix. I first heard it on the Billy nasty Journeys by DJ tape when I was a little kid. There is something about the synth sound of the lead in kinetic track that's so special and does age so well!!! 🥰
Just listening to GC Discotech today and was reminded how awesome this tune is - does anyone know where the vocal sample is from in the breakdown (@3:13)?
00:22 - What is that noise? Is that sampled from somewhere? I hear it every now and then in songs and I think once in Space Dandy. I call it a "Trance Whale" since it seems so elusive.
100% of any donation goes back into improving the channel in one way or another where vinyl uploads are concerned. With the donations I've received so far, they've helped fund some new lighting equipment, and also part fund a new Ortofon Concorde Club MKII Cartridge/stylus which has greatly improved the audio quality with a lot of my collection. One or two donators have also suggested that their donation might fund some records I might not already own or improve some that I do which are maybe in poor condition (there are a good few). One of the best trance tracks, no doubt, its main part is legendary!
Remember first hearing this on Disco-tech back in 1999. What an amazing album that was. My copy is rather tired now, but still plays okay!

It's actually a shakuhachi flute. And this sample is off the Emulator II, I think from memory .
@@elektrikmusic9572 , thanks! I am not familiar with that instrument but I love the sound. Brilliant usage here.

Golden Girls - Kinetjc was a side project of one of Orbital's Hartnoll brothers. Great track.
Thanks bro nice stuff.
Never heard this, defo can't remember it.
First heard this on a Gatecrasher compilation. Absolute beauty this tune.

Guess who’s back
Andreas Schmidt a.k.a. Ace da Brain is always melodic trance quality. Sadly he only is ghostproducing EDM stuff for as an example Le Shuuk.
I've always heard alot of Marcus in this one aswell.
@@Junior3z Marcus never produced. It was all Andreas.
God Bless the Whales.
Tuuuune!
dope
all songs should just be a record spinning

A gatecrashers classic.
First heard this on gatecrasher discotech CD in 2000. Was blown away. Still am.
Like enigma remix 👍🏻👌🏻
