Awesome idea with the topper and magnet , ive been using throws as a cheaper version of design element for a while . I haven't taken it to the next step like this till now.. thank you
Thanks a lot for this video.have just thought of this Idea and thought of getting into RUclips to get tips on how to do it and here you are with all I wanted.thanks a bunch👌👍
I love this and I love the idea that you can switch out blankets for different colors or patterns!! So rad!! I will definitely be making one of these!!
Right? One thing I forgot to add to the video, but will probably add to the description, is that this design makes the fluffy rug part so easy to wash. I just throw it in the washing machine, easy peasy.
How come you only have 11 subscribers !?!? I loved your video !!! I'm making a rug for my daughters room with mermaid scales fabric . thanks for the tips . 😊
All i did was throw a perfectly cut piece of faux fur on the floor, that i purchased from the fabric district, in downtown Los Angeles. The backing was quite a bit stiffer than your blanket. But i love your idea and will have to try it. ❤
Hey, thanks for your comment! I honestly think you could have the best of both worlds if you used the foam + liner part, and then attached it to the bottom of your rug!
Totally get that! For me, there was no rug out there that was a budget-friendly version of all the qualities I desired: huge surface area (almost 5' x 5'), plenty of support from the plush foam layer, ease of unsnapping the "rug" part and throwing it in for a wash, and the freedom to change out the top layer and freshen up my living space without having to buy a whole new rug. That's the beauty of DIY! I totally get that 'DIY' has become synonymous with 'super affordable,' but the rug I created is what I prefer to anything else I can buy, that's what it makes it priceless for me!
Hi, thank you for your honest feedback! I wanted this to be as informative as possible for a beginner to follow along without feeling confused or lost. I will consider your advice for future videos.

Here's a photo, everything in the picture cost less than 50 dollars to put together
If I had a RUclips home decor channel, it would be “ I Can’t Afford That Either!” 😂😂😂😂
This is perfect as it allows for just tossing the throw into the wash when cleaning is needed.
This was an awesome video. Great editing and fantastic instructions. Your Channel deserves a lot more subscribers!

Good ideas but to hard for me. I think just using spray glue to attach a nonskid pad is mote my style rate
It’s not that hard

I love the idea but if I could afford that 40$ blanket and other supplies, I wouldn't need to diy a rug!
