That really looks dangerous. How far away did ya go to leave the food out there. At least a half mile I hope. The bears can follow the scent right back to your cabin.

@@northernbettygirl I’m not obsessed with him having to shoot a bear..at all if he wasn’t deliberately attracting them to his cabin ..I’d think anyone who lives in the wilderness knows enough not to take a animals life unless absolutely necessary..of course ..serious hunters and guides do put bait out to hunt different species..but only in hunting seasons..this fella is far from a hunter or guide ..by willingly trying to attract animals that may lead to their deaths is stupid..
Aren't you asking for trouble and bear problems by feeding them like this, especially so close to your cabin? Feeding deer is fine, but sweet pies for bears??
I garanti à bear won't have time to make it, before the racoons, turkeys, birds, and squirrels. I've had a few bears at the cabin but I'm not worried 😁

I've been doing it for years. And they roam around the cabin. I'm not scared. 😉 Always a possibility but so far I'm fine.
