We actually don't use the machine too often. We're only occasional drinkers. But we've noticed that the alcohol levels still go down (no, we don't have teenagers who are using the machine without our knowing!). It appears that the alcohol evaporates when you don't use the machine frequently. Anybody else experiencing this? When not in use, I take out the bottles, setting them upright. The closed valve prevents evaporation.
Interesting!! I leave my bottles attached to the machine but have noticed the levels have gone down occasionally I won’t if it is evaporation. I also know if you leave water in the water tank it’ll get nasty
Thank you so much for this video. Mine quit working..it just needed cleaning. I did have to pump the valves with needle nose pliers because I hardly use it.. I guess the sugar caused the valves to stick. Thank you again!
Hey @sky2032. When you say you "pumped the valves" with needle nose pliers, what exactly do you mean? My girlfriend's Bartesian has also quit working, just in time for Thanksgiving. We are trying to figure it out, but there isn't much on this. Thanks very much!
@makeitranereviews I run half Vinegar. and half filtered water to do a good cleaning. Then filtered filtered water about 4 to 5 times to flush it out of the vinegar smell.

You can run vinegar through it if you want to do a deep clean, but it also has alcohol running through it soooo

Would it be ok to use distilled or just use filtered water?
Just filtered, distilled is more for something like a vaporizer, humidifier types of things

Distilled water will stop lime buildup, I recommend distilled water in Keurigs too
