Viktor (the black powder dealer) was one of Matt's most unhinged NPCs. Watching his interactions with Percy, as Taliesin is trying to keep a straight face throughout the entire thing, is suitably epic on its own.

And how quickly Matt could just flip it. Like when Taliesin asks for a Hogshead of powder (a real unit of measurement) and Matt just instantly has Viktor offer the head of a hog, filled with powder. Those two vibing off each other is always great.

I love that he's included even though i would've liked to see his entire 'arc' :p

Grog's fight against Earthbreaker Grun was pretty wild in the tabletop campaign. Especially considering that Grun is a very high level Way of the Open Hand Monk (at least 17th level since he uses the Quivering Palm in the campaign version of the fight).

    - Zahra and Kash are voiced by Mary Elizabeth McGlynn and Will Friedle and both voiced them as guest stars in the campaign. Will is well known as Eric from Boy Meets World or Ron Stoppable from Disney's Kim Possible. Mary is actually the voice director for the series!
    - Osysa is the patron to Ioun, the Knowing Mistress. Makes sense she would have a lot of insight 👍🏻
    - Victor is probably one of the most favorite NPCs of campaign 1 (right behind Gilmore). He was pulled out of Matt's ass on the spot and it was HILARIOUS. The table was completely blown away and just dying. You should definitely find that moment and watch it.
    - You will see so much amazing lighting throughout the whole season. There was a major increase in budget for this season because it was fully funded by Amazon at this point. So we'll done!
    - The next episode has probably one of THE most pivotal moments of the campaign. One roll changed A LOT.

I got to meet Will this past month at Planetcomic con in Kansas City, and was so torn on getting a Batman Beyond picture signed or Brother Kash. I ended up picking Kash and Will was so stoked about it. He does this thing where if you get the Kash picture, you roll off with D20s to try and win something, we talked about how we’re both the Will Weatons of our groups and naturally we both rolled ones haha. Then we rolled again and after I won, I got a free picture! Dude was awesome and super nice!

The running joke with the group is that Marisha Ray, who voices Keyleth, had a poster of Will Friedle in her room, so naturally they made Keyleth have a little crush on Kash which you see played out in the animated series.

In early planning of S1, the idea for the party to be trapped somewhere and have to confront their fears was considered as a plot for the first 2 episodes. This was rejected bc it wasn’t a good way to introduce the characters to a new audience, but wound up being used here

1:28 This is the most religious city in the world. Hundreds of clerics. Even if they are a 10th of pike's power. Imagine a city will hundreds of budget Pikes spamming beams of holy light. Plus its the oldest city in the world withstanding even wars between gods. Imagine all the institutionalized knowledge and time-tested defensive infrastructure.

to add to this some of those gods and giant primordial elemental titans had vasselheim as their main focus to destroy and since the city is still standing 800+ years later, id say they can def withstand 4 ancient dragons

Yeah, they figured out that drawing fur on something that large would be really annoying, so they opted for a stone-like texture to the Osysa's look, which I think works A LOT better in my opinion

The original kickstarter funded 10 episodes. Amazon kicked in for the last 2 episodes of S1 and all of S2 (and 3, and hopefully more). listening to the Titmouse folks talk about animating Orthax and how difficult it was, but how cool it looked in the end was very intresting.

For what it's worth, this is probably one of my very favorite reaction channel when it comes to TLOVM. Not tons of pointless yapping, seemingly into and interested in what happening, picking up on even subtle 'hints' in the show. Lovely to watch someone that honestly give a sh-t. Wish the videos came a bit more quickly though ;) Curious to see your reaction to episode 3... won't spoil anything obviously. Keep up the good work bud

And concerning Keyleth's lifespan, it's not just that she lives longer than humans. Keyleth is a half-elf, so she might live up to something like 180 but not incredibly more, same as Vax and Vex. However she's also a druid, and if she reaches level 18, she'll start aging 1 year per every 10 she lives, which will get her something like 1500-1600 years lifespan, more than twice of what pure elves usually get.

That quality bump really continues to shine this season - no knocking S1, but you can tell it was Kickstarter Dollars and now we're into Amazon Dollars.
Whilst we've already skipped some guest stars, Kash and Zahra were two pretty frequent guest players at the table, and they get to play a bit more here because they aren't just guests of the party now. Side note Mary (Zahra) is also this show's Voice Director.
This season more than the first is doing a lot of rewriting, but for the best. The benefit of being written by the original creators and players is they know exactly where to cut and where to add.
One example, Grog, we're seeing the start of what had been a few small stories for Grog being woven into one solid character arc - so keen to see your reaction to how it plays out.
