JPMcFly1985Two #FeelTheBern You know he is. The guy loves his music and still gets pumped about it like he did when he was young. I'm play guitar and drums and feel like a kid at the candy store every time I play. Once you get the music in you it never leaves

Mick Mars is a fucking trooper. The guy has lived with a painful, debilitating disease that affects the very basis of ones body and movement, and NEVER complained, never bitched, never got into any substance abuse because of it, never did any stupid shit on tour, never got arrested, and always performed on EVERY fucking show they ever did.
The guy is a true testament to MCs longevity and success. Had it not been for Mick, they would never had lasted past SATD. Kudos and much respect to Mick Mars. The savior of Motley Crue.
He was addicted to prescription pain meds and drank really bad, but he did give it up

Poor Mick, I feel so bad for him. I can't imagine what it must be like to have a seized up spine and the pain he is in must be unstoppable. One of my favorite guitarists. Their first two albums are my favorite. For the most part, the rest became chick music.

Tommy is the man, I love his youthful energy and persona. Love this interview too, seems much more personable than your average American interview with standard questions.

That was a very cool interview with positive energy and the lady asking the questions was such a sweetheart.I think it opened up Tommy and Mick to have some candid answers.My mum was born in Wales and she still has her accent,kind way,good manners,and that sweet way about her like the lady interviewer.I'll have to go back and visit England,Wales,and I really want to see the Isle of Mann TT motorcycle races.Maybe next year.

Mick and Tommy are the closest of the four. Mick has said in interviews how much he missed Tommy when they used other drummers.
They were both lovely and I was very lucky to meet them!
Finally a great interview...great and interesting question. Mainly american reporters and nightshow hosts ask stupid and boring questions and the same questions...but Thank You it was something different.

It's interesting in the last few years of the band that Vince and Nikki would do interviews together, and Tommy and Mick would do interviews together. Now part of that was probably to keep Tommy and Vince separated (let's face it, they hate each other), but they still could've gone w/ Tommy with Nikki, and Vince with Mick.
I feel stoked as I was at that very first UK show at Donington 1984 so wish someone had filmed it but I do have a great audio bootleg great memories

Even though this is 7 years back, Tom I thought would be od'd by now. Surprisingly and thankfully he fooled everyone. He looks like 25-30 yo. Mick, is older than the rest of MC. He's like almost 80. Maybe 75-80. Keep kickin it Mick!

Hi Chris, yes he did seem to be shy, I think with his illness and the rest of the band being so extrovert he seemed used to letting them do the talking. That is why I tried to include him more into the conversation. They were both lovely and real gents to me:)
He's not really shy. He said once that his disease makes him look like he's shy or grumpy, but he's not. And he's not a big talker. He thinks more than he talks.

sorry haha. For a good laugh google search: "CTV Ticket issues" that story is me, about purchasing 22 motley crue tickets last year. Was so happy to be in a video about Motley Crue. CTV is the local news station where I live in Edmonton/Canada

He was awesome of course he still plays awesome but he was rolling and now they want to shoot on his head. I don’t get it. Hundred70 million $ I made on tour and they don’t want to share with him. The guy that was in the band for 40 years I’m telling you that makes me angry.
I can't move on now. I really need to know if they hooked her up and got her in the Crue's nest. Im assuming he was just being polite, but I really want to know.
Unfortunately no I did not get to the Crue’ Nest. But I have to say both Tommy and Mick were lovely to me and I feel very privileged to have interviewed my heroes!
