I recently discovered Carpetman as well and really enjoyed his song catalog. In addition to the song you reacted to, "Feel so cold", "You will never know it", "Anyway, I love it" and "Make it lower" all stood out to me and impressed me. Love this artist's style. I hope you enjoy.

Carpetman sings and moves his body with so much soul, many people think he’s black at first….even I did initially. He first started singing Ukrainian songs (native language), then did English covers and posted those on his social media where he was noticed internationally. He then became a one man band….doing the writing, singing, mixing, arranging, instrumentation, and production on his own songs….all since 2023 only! He’s so incredibly gifted at such a young age that he leaves me in awe. The United States loves him….the proof is in his streamed listening stats. 🇺🇸 Please have a listen to Feel So Cold and his latest, Make It Lower….you won’t be disappointed! 🌟 Thank you for spreading the word about him. 🙏🏻

Just curious how do we know he’s not black? Are there not Black people in the Ukraine?

@ Because I’ve seen him uncovered. He’s as white as me without my faux tan. 🤣❤️

Lol, it's not a real carpet, it's just a pattern on the clothes that is typical of carpets.

So....reading comments on other platforms from Ukrainian fans. There had been a video done by Kalush Orchestra where a victim of war was killed and the killers just wrapped him up in a Killim Rug and left him. The Killim is a cultural symbol of connection/perseverance/ community/love ect. Many poor class persons couldn't afford TV and whatnot, but they had music, dance, togetherness and the crafting of these rugs. Families would pass these rugs down like old American Gothic Families would have Family Quilts.
In the lore... the Carpet revived the murdered young man and brought him back, but he was now also the carpet

I wanted to give you a thumbs up but I couldn’t because you kept talking over the song and not listening to the song you can’t listen if you’re talking
