By FAR the best tour of the 453 out there...so much better than the so called "professionals" out there uploading grainy no audio tours....great job! Thx :)
Thanks Corey! We truly appreciate your positive feedback! Our video is far less than pro, but we tried to give an idea of the layout and space. Perhaps we will do another tour once we get her home to North Idaho and have moved aboard!?!
I'm going to be honest, I wasn't on expecting much from this silverton, and boy was I wrong! There is so much room for this 45 footer and very little compromises. I was not expecting such a large kitchen, salon, and bedrooms (I've seen smaller on 55 footers). To top everything off, the bow area is AMAZING. No wonder so many people love silverton's.
When we started looking for the "next boat" about a year ago, we looked at everything...and I mean EVERYTHING! We couldn't get over the AMAZING use of space on the Silverton, and because Molly is a bit under 5 feet tall, an elevated galley is perfect for her! She also loves a hot bath from time to time, so the Master head was a winner! It was also the only boat of her size that had 2 queen walk around beds....without rounded corners....so you can use conventional mattresses ant the sheets fit nicely. It's the little things, ya know. We also love the glassed in double hard top since we live in a Northern climate. Thanks for being as impressed with this boat as we are! Cheers!
Hope your enjoying your boat, it's beautiful. The layout is great, 3- Staterooms, Walk-in Engine Compartment ... and a Bathtub !!! I've seen much bigger boats that do not look as Comfortable as your Silverton !!! Stay Safe, and Happy New Year !!!
So happy for your new mansion on the water! Wonderful for the three of you, plus room to spare! You finally get a proper bedroom and even your own bath! That galley is amazing, too. Wow! Hope to visit next summer...maybe you will rent out beds in the Crew's quarters
I thought they ran out of water in arizona? I love when the woman does the tour.. here is the man room with engines an generator and all good stuff.. and of course a tub.. Nice boat brother! and I am glad to see you made momma happy.. 'cause when mamma's happy the whole world if full of love..
Lol...Thanks for the nice review! I promise that Molly can get as technical as any guy in the engine room, but because I was trying to keep the video short, I urged her to skip over the details. Perhaps we should do a more mechanically minded engine room tour in the future!? And yes...the tub is loved!
Great tour what a boat she's yar man love her congratulations, just one thing and it's probably just me but Mr lovely camera man next time can you slow the moments of the camera, at times I was getting a bit motion sickness but that's probably just me as I said, she's gorgeous fair wind and calm seas to you both and enjoy that bath looks fap, I m in Australa with a bayliner 4588 not enough storage, and a broken generator not fun but that's boats for you, I wish we had Silvertons here in Australia, happy sailing chaps. 🤗🇦🇺❤️
What a fantastic yacht! I love the glass on the cockpit and flybridge. Was that original from the factory, or aftermarket? If possible, could you let me know the manufacturer please (even if the factory installed it, they likely had it made elsewhere)? Thanks in advance.
Hey, just curious.. I'm looking to purchase my first boat. On here trying to get ideas. Can you ball park a figure for a vessel like yours. I really like the interior. The outside,, ehh, but the interior is over the top for this size of vessel.. Please and thank you 💙
Nice video and tour of the 453 Silverton! I would love to here more of your search for the right boat. We are looking at the same 453 Silverton (2000). How does the Silverton compare to Sea Ray/ Meridian/ Carver??? We really like the exterior walk ways (really seem to be more secure for our dogs) also the gang way to the V.I.P. room it has the look of a much larger yacht.
We are happy to share our thoughts on this boat compared to the other manufacturers you mentioned! Currently we are at sea, and in process of getting our 453 home to lake Pend Orielle. We are taking the long way around from Tacoma to Lewiston. Yay! After 22 hours straight we will be crossing the Columbia River Bar at 6am tomorrow!
My wife and I are downsizing and planning on buying a Silvertron we live in Tennessee and was gonna put it on the Tennessee river what do we do have the boat shipped to us? Any help would be great. Thanks.
I cut all the plywood, corian, cabinets etc for that exact boat....how do i know this.... Because i ran the Router that year and thats where 85% of all materials for the boat get cut.....there are aprx. 400 sheets of plywood on that model....from 2"4×8 - 1" 5x 12 all the way down to 1/4 inch
Wow! That's incredible! We have been into nearly every space, nook and cranny in the boat, as we are insulating for winter, and the craftsmanship on the boat build is AMAZING! We are impressed, and so glad you reached out to us! Thanks for your fine work!

I thought it was for sale..... it looked like big boats like blue star here in Greece but of course smaller....i mean there s a lot of interest moving around... stairs up and down all the time... side walks.... and if you get bored you just sit behind where these 2 chairs were and that s all...
Brian, these lights we installed prior to our ownership of the boat, and were professionally installed. That said, we will take a closer look at them when we do a haul out in about a week.
Thank you for your input. I truly apologize for the sound quality. We are currently shopping for a microphone, and as you can tell, I dont have one on in this video. If you have recommendations we would appreciate it!
Next boatbyou show get your terms and parts of the boat worked out before the next and never walk away from the camera talking no one can hear you but your lack of knowledge can be worked on lol
This is so far the best layout I have ever seen on a 45feet boat. It is so liveaboard. Really hope Silverton still making them today.
This boat is so awesome it makes me Ill. I remember touring one at a boat show when they were new and loved it then as well. Congratulations.

A very nice boat, and tour. Thank you.
Congratulations! I had a 2001 453 hard enclosed like this one and was the cat’s meow. Love your enthusiasm
Beautiful boat! Now I know exactly which boat I would love to own.
From one Silverton owner to another; congratulations!!

Thanks for this video. This is the yacht my husband and I are interested in so it was great seeing it from a woman’s perspective! 🙂

I love the boat. I have just started to look for a live aboard boat. Cool boat
We absolutely love the floor plan and use of space! Thank you for your kind words.
I liked the video and enjoyed seeing the Silverton. I also Subscribed and rang the bell so I could see more of your adventures. Thanks

Nice boat…Congrats!
Beautiful boat and very functional. I'm curious if you considered a Silverton 43 MY? If so, what did you think of it vs. the 453?
That’s a lot! For a Silverton! I love it
Way cool boat Molly. Can't wait to see her on the water.
Thank you, Bill!

Thank you for the great video.
It doesn’t look that roomy on the outside, but what a surprise when you entered the main salon.
Cool, it looks like it's been a year since this video. Can we get a cost of ownership video next?
You bought a nice boat.
Would this boat make the Great Loop size wise?
Beautiful yacht !!! Could you possibly go into more detail about the davit system that you have and how it functions?

Hey Terri. She is actually 50’4” LOA on the spec sheet from Silverton manual and 35’7” on waterline.
WOW!!! I’m a boat person but my biggest was 31’ cabin cruiser. Are you going to pilot?

Oh yay! Very exciting stuff! Are you hauling out in Lewiston, or just doing an epic adventure?
you done well, keep it up
Nice. What are the specifications? How much $$?
Is it for sale ?
Odd layout, but makes it look so much bigger, and it's showing its age, huge potential, happy you found the right boat for you.
AMAZING!!!
Beautiful boat. Congratulations. However whilst being a girl, I really wanted to see the helm controls in 'manland'.
I like this yacht

Who gives a rip what you want? Jeezus, don't you have anything better to do D.A.
Oh sorry DM? 😂
Very poor audio! Who are you talking to? It should be into the microphone!!
Thank you for your input. I truly apologize for the sound quality. We are currently shopping for a microphone, and as you can tell, I dont have one on in this video. If you have recommendations we would appreciate it!
Didn't have any issue with the audio sir. No apology necessary. He must crap audio on his end.
These are too top heavy roll side to side like a 67 caddy in a slalom race.
