Weakness: Scramble Thunder
Starting things off with the ice level. And as usual, you get the slippery floors to mess with your traction. We also get a lot of wind segments. Sometimes it blows against you to slow you down and make you fall on enemies. Other times it's pushing you forward, making you take long jumps over deadly pits.
Tundra Man is all about elegance, as he dances and prances all over the field, eager to show off how refined his form is. Although this does mean that out of all the Robot Masters, his pattern has no real variables. He sticks to his routine every time so once you know his pattern, you've got him. When he activates his Speed Gear, he will zoom back and forth across the field 3 times, and then he will jump to the center of the screen to unleash his Tundra Storm, ending with him striking a pose in one of the corners.

Out of all the Ice-base robot masters, which are standard build, or bulky big defense, Tundra man wins by using the ice design for elegance, grace and fabulousness for his moves and skating prowess. Truly he is beautiful.
True I also believe that he is one of the easiest ice boss. I think even chill Penguin is harder than him.

in the game's gallery they say: "Tundra Man is a robot built originally for investigations on Antarctic, but after Tundra Man watched a ice skating show, he went crazy about this idea. So he not only modified his design to look elegant and graceful, but he also spent quite a few years mastering impressive ice skating skills"
Tundra Man & Elec Man should be friends together and be like "My Battles are blindly beautiful aren't they?" or like "A fight is but a moment, a moment of memorizing beauty."

One of my favorite things about this boss battle is how the spotlights focus on Tundra Man during the whole fight.
And the background. MAN I love that background.
The background is a callback to Freeze Man's fight.
4:18 Tundra-man’s ice skating skating is amazing! All that time practicing in the arctic tundra as really paid off.

A cool thing about Mega Man 11 is that it got some of the characteristics from X8 when it comes to shielded enemies: "You got to fire a charged shot to break its barrier." Very neat

In MM2, Inafune requested this be done with Quick Man to convey how difficult he was. They've done this with a handful of other Robot Masters since then.

This reminds me of Metatton....and, he has exactly the voice i'd imagine him to...good video though...! 😊😁 Also, I have to say....out of all the Mega Man 11 characters, I think Tundra is the best.....well not the best, but he's my favorite out of the other ones.

Interesting to see a figure skater robot master. His stage sort of has a cold-storage/ fossil theme with all the frozen skeletons in it and the mammoth mini-boss.

Well this is your robot master you gonna take on first, well no surprise there for most players since he and Block Man are the easiest, I also chose him as well not just that sole reason but also my favourite weapon of all Tundra Storm, when use power gear is like Tornado Blow, clears everything on screen and u get like 4 shots of it. Anyway my order was like Speed Gear Robot Masters first then Power Gear Robot Masters and fight robot master bosses with buster only and no help for Dr Light Lap Shop. Tundra Man - Bounce Man - Fuse Man - Acid Man - Block Man - Impact Man - Blast Man - Torch Man.
You’re braver than I am for tackling this stage first. Even with the upgrade, I couldn’t make it to the boss door while sliding all over the damn place I needed the ice boots
Well actually it took me a lot of practice attempts when I first got this game, totally new to me. But it is to be expected, it’s a classic Megaman game after all with precise timing of platform jumping and etc.

Mm-hmm. Tbh it’s not as simple as like the other classic games with the whole double gear system, difficulty between Normal & SuperHero mode and etc. And some think it’s like Megaman X playstyle but it’s actually not, Megaman X playstyle does not equal classic Megaman playstyle, that’s some of their mentality of what they think.
Leong Yu Hin Leong I mean the piledriver does look like X’s dash. But that’s about it on the X comparisons. And I learned the heard way that it couldn’t even be played like 9 & 10. The Double Gear System is well built into parts of the level design and the boss fights.
Question: when you select a robot, why does this game list them as wily numbers despite none of them being built by Wily?
